I went by an Rv web site which said to measure from center wheel hug to center wheel hug which measured on my rig 35inches so I purchased the SRE2 735x. After going on MorRyde I found they wanted you to measure from one hanger to the second hanger so for my rig it was 59inches. Hub to hub centers should work, or the centers of the axles would do the same. Should be either 33 or 35”. I’ve seen the MorRyde site with the page of measuring the hangers. I found that isn’t truly accurate as Northwood who makes our fifth wheel has different axle spacing but I have 35” axle centers. If you are measuring I would also compare the three holes in the CRE3000. On the one I had for a 35” centers caused the axles to be nearly 33” as the dimensions of the three holes was different than the OEM equalizers. In Talking to MorRyde they were stumped on the issue the CRE3000 caused (which isn’t a problem on the SRE4000. Thank you for responding. I measured the Dexter equalizer and you have six inches and the two center of the mounting holes on the SRE 4000 is 8 inches. After measuring all of this I called MorRyde and was told I should have ordered the SRE 733. I just measured 34.5" between hub centers on mine, but there is just a little bit over 6" in between the shackle mounting holes on the CRE3000 that is currently installed...looks like I need to call MORryde.Re: It’s Summertime! North to Alaska?Do a web search for "rv caravan to alaska" and check out several organizations that do just that.Re: Cre3000 to CRE4000Have you completed your upgrades yet? If so, got any feedback for us?Re: Can I run my WFCO output to a REDARC BCDC? 191124x7 wrote: I’m not sure I understand REDARC’s answer; but the gist of it is, hooking the WFCO to the REDARC won’t work. So I’m going to let it be for sure. Here is their answer: “If you connect the WFCO only to the input of the BCDC1240D, this will not work. The BCDC1240D is looking for battery voltage, and the WFCO is looking for a voltage in order to supply power – the BCDC1240D does not have battery voltage on the input without a battery connected. If you had both the truck and the WFCO on the input, the BCDC1240D would turn on under normal voltage thresholds once the truck reached 13.2V, and start drawing the current required to charge the auxiliary battery. If the WFCO could keep up with the current requirements to charge the truck battery, and sustain amperage required to charge the auxiliary battery, this would work just fine.” Did you get the REDARC wired up and if so, how is it working for you?Re: 5th wheel Truck combo = terrible rideAny updates on your ride issue?Re: Glacier Peak Wallowa fifth wheelSince I mentioned it in this thread earlier, I thought I should follow up. The Nash is sold and we pick up a 2016 Glacier Peak F26RKS in a few days! Is there anything specific we should look out for on our unit in the walk-through? Has anyone mounted a generator on one yet?Re: New RAM Hitch egarant wrote: What I am really looking for is the extension of the hitch out to the back of my truck camper so I can tow. I have Torklift a call this morning, FireGuard, you are correct, they said you have to lift the bed and remove the bumper to remove the stock hitch. They so make a bolt on unit that mates just under the stock hitch that makes it the same as their Super Hitch, model D1104. You can then use the Super Truss Extension to get the receiver to the back of your truck camper. Problem solved!! So what did you end up going with?Re: Glacier Peak Wallowa fifth wheelThe only reason we did not buy a Glacier Peak 5th wheel this year, was cost vs useage. We decided to go with a smaller travel trailer instead. Hindsight being what it is...we would probably have bought the RKS (and still might in a couple years ;))Re: Arctic Package Necessary ?Is it necessary? No...not in the summer. Is it a wise decision to purchase an arctic package? IMO...Yes.Re: Frost Heave 1, Toy hauler 0....Wow...sorry to see a thing like that happen! But up here in AK, it's an unfortunate regular occurance. My old Gooseneck trailer suffered to a frost heave once...
