I am Bob's son JJ, I was the one with the son on the 50 and I also won a poker run many year back. Pops was a very private man so we are trying to keep the services small. But if you are in the North Anderson OHV area on Pres day weekend at North Anderson staging area, ride to our camp(BPMC flags). I will speak a bit about pops let anyone else have a few words then will be sending him off in a spectacular way weather permitting around 10am.R.I.P. Bob WandererMy Dad, Bob Wanderer, lost his battle with cancer on Friday (12/13) night. He will be missed!!! Leaves a wife, 2 sons, and a grandson.Re: Blowouts!!!!!!! Whats wrong with "NyLocks", used many thousands of them over 45 years of wrenching. Only in critical components that demand maximum holding power got grade 8 locknuts or safety wired. Nothing wrong with lock tight, but for many applications a NyLock works well.Re: Gas in Toy Hauler TankI use Stabil in the fuel station and have had good luck with the Onan carb. I use it in the toys as well when I remember, had a few carb clean outs since I don't always remember :SRe: Brake ReplacementsIf the brakes went "metal to metal" the drum(s) need to be machined or replaced. The ones that did not get damaged can be reused if they are within specs. Anyone who wants to put new shoes on with damaged drums doesn't deserve your business. As mentioned, brake assemblies are typically cheaper to install than just the shoes and I vote for the complete assemblies. This advice from someone who has done a few brake jobs (A few thousand :W )Re: Towing triples with toy hauler Strabo wrote: Another way to get your stuff to camp... HOT DROP Thats where a C130 flys low and slow, your stuff rolls off the ramp, slides along, comes to a stop in a cloud of dust...
