Good advice IMO!!Re: Going back to a Pop UpI have a small TT, a KZ 17RBS. Its about 19' over all length. I had 2 pop-ups prior to the KZ, a soft side and a hard sided Jayco A-Frame style. I really liked the A-Frame pop-up. I could literally set that camper up by myself in 2 minutes. Some people like all the conviences of home when they camp. And will spend most of their time in their camper. I'm more of the outdoors type and only sleep and poop on mine. 99% of the time i use the campground showers. To each their own! But i'd have no problem going back to an A-Frame style pop-up. Aliner came out with a new "off road" one that looks interesting...Re: Downsizing - How much?I agree with you sound guy but to each their own. My buddies wife packs a lot of stuff because she "might" need it. I like your neighbors camper! Theres a another non-slide (ORV 22RD, I think is the model) that im also liking. Just stating to like the non-slides more latelyRe: Downsizing - How much? TomG2 wrote: Like so many, the OP asked a question that only he knows the answer to. Full timing? Weekend trips? Tow vehicle? Destinations? Budget? So many variables. I have traveled in fifth wheels, travel trailers, 34' Class A motorhome, Sprinter chassis class B, and just finished up three months in a truck camper. What works for me, might not work for you. IMO you cant get much more spot on than this^^^^^^^ While some may judge it as "fence sitting" only the OP knows what he & the wife needs are.Re: Under 3500 lbs shelbyfv wrote: D2Forever wrote: @SoundGuy - do I pass my weight lesson??? :B LOL!!!!!Re: What do you love about your TT?1: never had to go back to the dealer in the 3 years that I owned it 2: I own it 3: fulfills all our needsRe: Is there a high end TT other than Airstream? katoomer wrote: a simple solid trailer would help. Livinlite has a laminated "no wood" floor system. The older ones 2016 and older have an aluminum floor system.Re: Surveyor Travel trailer HUNTERJEFF wrote: the fit and finish was very poor. Jeff I walk away from that particular TT because of what you said above. If the visible stuff looks bad imagine what the things you cant see looks like.Re: Whoa ! Major design/manufacturing change in CampLite TTThe all aluminum floor had the gripe of being too cold. The newer floor is suppose to help prevent that......so I was told by a Livinlite dealer.
