Inspect all outsides of the rv including the roof and the undercarriage. Look for signs of recent work on the rv, leaks from the water, holding tanks, hydraulics, etc. Check the tires for dry rot and tread. Other than these things it should be straight forward, enjoy your purchase, enjoy your rv. We enjoyed over 20 years of rving.Re: Anybody LOVE their Onan Microlite 2800 ?The Onan 2800 is the unit I had in my Keystone Challenger. It never failed me in all the time we used it. It handled my load without a problem, the maintenance was minimal. Loved that unit.Re: E7 errorLoss of 120 volt power to the A/C.Re: 2014 Keystone Alpine Hydraulic Jacks 6 Jack SystemWere you able to fix your leak?Re: 2014 Keystone Alpine Hydraulic Jacks 6 Jack SystemMy 2013 Alpine had some of same problems. I found a leak in one of the hoses (had to drop the coroplast on the front by the battery compartment) had a couple new hoses made up by a hydraulic repair place and I had one of the hydraulic jack cylinders rebuilt by the same repair facility. No more settling and no more hydraulic fluid leakage. Check the hydraulic hoses where they travel down behind the batteries.Re: Wiring A 30amp RV Outlet - Ground & NeutralEighteen years ago National Electric Code required the neutral bus and ground bus be separate, usually a single screw between the two buses would have to be installed to bond the two busses. Your barn panel should have a separate ground bus. Only the house panel should be bonded together. Talk to your electrician, ask him to correct it. You will be glad you did.Re: Neutral lines reversedI would like to know what you mean by the neutral lines reversed.Re: Electrical Issues on new travel trailerI cannot believe the misinformation posted on this forum, some of you need to become educated if you want to expound on electrical issues of someone else. I hope they do not believe everything they read here.Re: Welding outlet with 50 amp rv outletNot per code!Re: Boycott campgrouunds that allow campfires.Boycott or not boycott a cg that allows campfires, that is your choice. Personally I do not return to a cg where I have been smoked out and my rv is filled with smoke. I like to breathe.
