I ran into one of those TC don't camp here spots near Austin here there web page http://www.sunsetpointlbj.com was looking for a spot to use our free night from good sams club saw there name at good sams web page so we headed over on our way home from Az well found them easy anoff have a big old sign out on the hwy no mention of No TC allowed have to dig throw there web site to find the no TC, tents or Pop-ups allowed. I'll reply for two people here. first if the wood is bad it is a real pain to fix its almost easyer to overlay the old wood my cutting out only the bad wood then use wood bond to smoth it out then use new lumber and build a new front wall over the old just make sure you epoxy all surface's and screw the new wood into the TC frame then re-cover the front and paint. To the second person here on the Avion TC having a TT on Hwy 281 15-20 miles or so north of San Antonio there is a garage that refurbishes them never stoped in but there are at least 5 out side some are near perfect.338Views0likes0CommentsRe: onan generator problem. help!
Ran into a simaler problem. Wouldn't start from inside could get it started out side. strange as it may be all I did was blow out the air filter and all around the generator. Found two things wronge dust everywhere and a birds nest. We also had 14 hrs and the AF-990 is a 2007. Also check the tanks as Bedlam said wont hurt. I checked both tanks and it would run fine once started out side after blowing it out it works perfect now even starts inside. One way is to make sure the stove lights easy and the fridge will fire up at the same time. Reading the posts and here a lot of winers here. Have had three TC in the last several years. We bought a useded 97 Weekender out in Calif back in 2010. Nice little camper. It was clean in and out. Only problem was the fridgerator had to rig it to work on 12v with a toggle switch. that was the only problem till the bolts pulled out on one of the legs had to rebuild the front end. Wood rot. The scond was our problem went too big. Found out the Lance 1191 was not friendly to short people. Poorly layed out getting into cab over tv over the step up point nothing to grab on too. Bathroom felt un balanced when on the throne. We have a AF-990 now love it a lot. Only thing wronge was age 2007. the dish was wore out alum wore out the holes were ob-longed causing it to rub a hole into the roof. Other than a bad Jack no major problems606Views0likes0Comments
