I thought if I had a schematic repairs would be simpler. If it is not fixable, a stand charger will be the answer. Thanks for the return note....ZiffellRe: Dodge Mobile travelerThis got very complicated. What makes you think the battery is bad. We load checked it and it stands up very well.It is nearly new. You will also note from my post that we did check the alternator out put. Well over 13.8 measured at the house battery. That means the isolator is working. We don't have any loose connections. The only thing wrong is the charger in the converter is not working. It is not toast and would serve well if we repaired the DC charger. I am wondering how you know there are two loose connections without doing a voltage drop test. In all my years in business I tried to make mechanical judgements only after checking the problem on the vehicle, not remotely. This is an old unit and a new converter is a bad idea. But I do appreciate your expertise. Thanks...ZiffellDodge Mobile travelerI have a 77 Mobile Traveler. If I put a volt meter on the coach battery and start the engine it will show well over 13 volts DC. If I plug the coach into 110 volt AC it doesn't show any battery charge voltage. If I disconect the battery The 110 volt circuts in the coach work but the 12 DC circuts don't. As it is the battery will be drained while pluged in and won't be recharged by the converter. It is a Power Converter charger Model PCM 15 NK. A manual would help. Thanks Arnie jimdonothing@yahoo.comprintable Zip code mapsI would like to find a map of each state with zip codes printed on them. Having the zip code for the area I am in would allow me to get my aiming specs from the material already downloaded from Dish network. Eastern or western arc. I would be able to aim my portable dish much easier when traveling. Thanks..jimdonothing@yahoo.comRe: From Valdez - To Delta Junction of Tok?Doesn't anyone go to "Chicken" anymore? When we went in 2010 there seemed to be two places that had to be. First was an overnight stay, (with photos) at WalMart. They mark off spots just for RVs. The other was a night in Chicken Alaska. Then you can continue on to the free ferry across the Yukon river. We went with a one ton and a 31 ft Airstream. Wrong rig. Too big to get off highway. We saw a lot of folks with $WD pickups and a pop up truck camper. The permafrost can be tough on big rigs Have fun.....ArnieRe: Setting up EqualizerYou are correct. That demo by the Reese folks was only done to demonstrate the " ability" of the Reese Dual Cam to stop sway before it starts. I don't think anyone who read the post would have considered driving that way. Take care..ArnieRe: Setting up EqualizerI used the word "equalizer" in it's "generic" form as you might use the word "aspirin" I could have said 'weight distributing hitch" or "load leveling hitch" but the results are the same. When I started doing this kind work, back in the 70's we hooked a 22 foot trailer to the back of a front wheel drive Olds Toronado and after pulling up the bars were able to remove the rear tires and drive the car with the use of a sway control. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mkewkvU8Ot8 This link to a You Tube video will give very good set up instructions. The mechanical geometry is still the same and it doesn't matter who the product manufacturer is. Anytime you add any appreciable amount of weight to a vehicle it has to be transferred to both front and rear axles. Adding only to the rear is unsafe. Adding only to the rear causes the front axle to become lighter and decreases steering control. UNSAFE Have fun ArnieRe: Setting up EqualizerThe term "Equalizer" is just what it means. It is supposed to divide the hitch weight between three axles. If you had a hitch weight of 500 lbs. it would transfer 150 lbs. to the rear axle of the tow vehicle, 100 lbs. to the front axle and 250 lbs. to the trailer axles. You may have more or less hitch weight, but these #'s give you a working formula. These settings are achieved by adjusting chain hook up length and ball height. Also bars come in different "weights". Heavy or lighter depending on the hitch weight. Have fun. ArnieRe: Dicor rubber roof Protectant-Is it waste on EPDM roof?I called the folks that made my TT. They went on there computer records and told me my unit had a Dicor rubber roof. They said to clean it with a soft detergent dish soap, rinse and apply Dicor protectant. ArnieRe: Advice on Limited Slip DifferentialIf you are from Wis, you are aware that there is no substitute for a 4X4, not only when towing but at trade in time. Also recall that the "bully" on the playground was the biggest kid. So it goes to say that the bigger trucks make the best "bully" when towing. To much truck won't seem important when that 7500lb trailer, (close to 9000lb when loaded) is pushing you down the far side of the Brooks Mountain Range. Have fun..Arnie
