Found them....Just follow the plug wires...ut oh there aren't any... looks like a project Y...y did I get this!!??Re: Recommended tools for a newbieI know I'm going to take a bunch for this but after 20 years of full timing in a class A.. chances are your not going to have what you need.. having to ask the question indicates your experience level ..make sure your roadside service is paid up.. make the call.Winnebago roofSo big winds here in the northeast last few weeks took the roof off of my 1992 winnebago Brave 22'. After much research I advised of the materials $3,000. That's crazy. I have been in construction for 40 years for an area 8'x20' the adhesives alone are $1,800. I know if I go to the unsuitable company they will total it and make me very unhappy.. the problem is the laminated roof. My thought is treat it out and put in 2x roof joists, insulation and plywood. We re talking 14 2x6x8'.. $100 for lumber, $200 for insulation and $150 for plywood and some kind of .. that's along ways from $3k.. Has anyone done thisRe: Winterization of RVI have used my rv year round for the past 4 years. The key is to use the furnace. The colder it gets the more the furnace needs to run. Im not sure where the waste tanks are located. Mine are external. I had to make provisions for these. But the internal piping is original. Tested to -20°.. I only winterized once -28°. There's no telling what's going to freeze freeze without testing. That being said,, since it's a rental i would winterize.Re: Painting the Walls of the 5er Do it right and do it once. The paint is your base for the wallpaper. I wouldn't apply wallpaper over paint that does not adhere to the wall. DittoRe: Oven ignitorI have a '92 Magic Chef. The pilot light is so faint i can hardley see it when it's lit. I have accidentally left it on after a tank change. It discharges so little gas i can't smell it. My guess is if you left it on all the time it would take years use a tank of gas.Re: Need help with a SF 30 Suburban FurnaceSo you are saying you got gas and spark but no fire.. I just put a new motor (it was going bad)I thought I want getting the correct air flow. I replaced the sail switch. Finally I replaced the igniter. I set the igniter where it was set at the factory. I still got it light intermittently. Not a good scenario for winter. I got out the owners manual and set the igniter as specified which was not even close to the way it came from the factory..yet it worked for 20 years.. To my surprise, problem solved.
