They do not make this floor plan anymore but there are still new old stock out there. We really like ours. Right at 27.5 feet and pulls really nice. Mine is lifted with larger tires for boon docking deep in the colorado rockies.Re: Need new ShocksBilsteins are the best towing shocks period!Re: 2007.5 Dodge 2500 steering wander?Search the web for a six bolt steering box upgrade. There is tons of info on a larger steering box that is a direct bolt in that is supposed to fix the issue. It is an OEM replacement upgrade part that you can get at the dealer or online. Good luck.Re: Triple bunks/quadNorthTrail FX235. A little longer than you want but it has triple bunk in back with queen up front. We have had ours for 3 seasons now. 3 kids, 2 adults and a 90 lb. black lab that goes with us everywhere. We all fit and everyone has their own space. I lifted ours 5", installed 15" wheels and oversize tires for "offroad" use. We boondock here in Colorado, Wyoming and Utah for fly fishing trips off the beaten path. Good Luck.Re: Tires for TVI have had a lot of different popular tires on my Dodge Ram 2500 while pulling my TT but the Bridgestone Duravis m700 are by far the best tire I have ever put on my truck. They are a commercial grade tire that have great traction for a mild AT tire. They come factory on GM products. There are claims of over 50-60k towing heavy loads on the web. I have never got more than 20-25k out of any tire with regular rotations every 3k and rebalance every 6k. I have 5k on them now and I have no measurable wear. They are awesome in the snow. No more need to put in 4wd every snow storm here in Colorado. I really like these tires. Good luck.Re: 14" to 15" tiresI changed out my wheels and tires after I bought my 2012 Northtrail FX235 from 14" to 15". All you need to do is check to see if the tire size you want to go to will fit and that the wheel bolt pattern is the same. I was not comfortable with the tires that came on my trailer. Weight rating was barely enough and they wore out very fast. I did a lift and upgraded to the highest weight rating and tallest tire that would fit. Saves your bearings and gives you piece of mind. I found my wheels and tires online for a great deal. Look online on how to measure your bolt pattern. You may or may not need to do a spring over to get the clearance for new tires and wheels. It depends on how big a tire you want to fit under your trailer.Re: Looking for our first trailer - Need bunkhouse, <25ftI have a Northtrail FX235 with triple bunk and queen bed for my family of five. Each kid has their own bunk and we do not have to make the dinette into a bed. The FX235 is 23.5 feet long minus the tongue, so it is right at 26.5 feet total length. We boondock in the high country of colorado all year long and spend about 45 days a year camping.
