However, with my situation, a 2022 chevrolet 3500 6.6 gas, I was offered by the local chevrolet dealer $1200 more than what I paid for it 1.5 years ago, and now has 21k miles.Re: Chevrolet 6.6 burning oilThanks guys for all the input! I am just extremely particular about my vehicles, and hate the thought of needing to carry extra oil at all times!! Tough decisions on if I trade in, (and fortunately will get every dollar back that I got in it) and get another GM hoping this one was out of the ordinary, or try out a Ford...Chevrolet 6.6 burning oilBeen a diehard Chevrolet gas, engine truck person my entire life. Use them very hard in my landscaping business, and the 6.0 gasoline never missed a beat. unfortunately the 6.0 gasoline is nonexistent, and I had to buy the 6.6 but I’m not happy about it. It has been burning oil since day one. Roughly every 5000 miles, it’s using 2 1/2 quarts of oil. it might even be more than that, going through an oil usage test with the dealer now. Anyone else have similar oil burning problem with their 6.6 Chevrolet gasoline? If it was an older truck, I would understand, but I just spent 50,000 and need to carry quarts of oil in my truck. Thanks!Re: Southern luxury rv resorts. Need Ideashow cold is it usually in that part of Louisiana around Christmas/New Years?Re: Southern luxury rv resorts. Need Ideasthanks!!Re: Southern luxury rv resorts. Need IdeasAwesome, thanks for the info about the Margaritavilles! For the one in Henderson, for the little bit of time we would spend outside the resort, is there anything to do in surrounding areas? Restaurants? anything else to do with kids? Or is Henderson a secluded area? Thanks!Southern luxury rv resorts. Need IdeasThanks to this site, been spoiled the last few years going to top notch Carolina Pines (South Carolina) and Cabana Club/Camp Margaritaville (Auburndale/Orlando Florida area). Looking to try something new next December in the south, lots of amenities for kids so we never have to leave the resort. Any ideas? Other than Fort Wilderness I HIGHLY suggest Camp Margaritaville and Carolina Pines to those who have not visited yet! Top notch resorts.Top resorts in United States.. ideas to visit?I am sure this topic has came up 100 times, but was wondering if I could compile a list of the top rv resorts in the United States. I am from Ohio, and always looking for nice family friendly resorts to bring my kids into to enjoy life! So far we have went as far south as Saraosta, and stayed at SUN N FUN (sun rv resort) and that place was gorgeous! awesome for kids and families! Then we went to Fort wilderness Disney , another great one! To top in off, and I believe might be the best in the United States, might be the new Carolina Pines resort near Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Absolutely stunning! Was a 12 out of 10. If you haven't checked it out, do it and you will thank me later. Would love to hear any other "must visit" resort style rv parks for ideas! thanks!Re: Winter Camping in Myrtle Beachthanks for all the info! hoping to get those 50-60 temps during the day! that is much nicer than the highs in the 20's like we are getting in ohio this week! look forward to this carolina pines resort, seems like so much to do for the kidsRe: Winter Camping in Myrtle BeachWill have the winter coats. I am from Ohio so I am more than used to the cold temps. South Carolina will be warmer than what I am used to for January!
