They're all indoor cats and never leave the RV. They mostly do what they do at home, sleep or look out the window. I tried a leash on one but the world is too big and he just sat there afraid. As at home, they're safer inside.Re: Are RV sewer hose supports necessary?I've never used one and I can't see the need for one. For proper tank usage, you should never leave a drain valve open for constant drainage, even the gray tank. Let the tanks mostly fill up then dump all at once to flush out debris, soap, particles.Re: Motorhomes on Mercedes ChassisA member of our local Winnie club has a Minnie Winnie, V10 and a slide out the back plus the side. We also have about 5 MB's in our club and for my money I like the Minnie much better. Nicer floor plan and more convenient to use. Nearly all the Views, Vias, etc have had issues when brand new, some bad slides, bad locks, engine warnings and more. I can't speak from my own experience, I drive a class A but I've had about 5 others before this, all on Ford chassis and none have been in a shop for anything. I'll gladly pay more for gas and not have the maintenance and repair costs.Re: Short Class A with no toad?It depends on your style of camping. If you go to one place and stay there you may not need one. But if you use it as a base and want to go sightseeing or side trips its nicer (not a necessity)to have a toad. We rarely go without one and I find it's no big deal to hook it up and travel with it. My 33' with a toad is kind of long but easily managed. If you go park to park in your travels you may not need one.Re: Moki Dugway, Should I try it?I've done it in my 32' MH, no problem and fun. Keep an eye out ahead for oncoming vehicles and plan for pullover at the wide spots. Take lots of photos, you'll be talking about it for a long time.Re: 2014 ford edgeI tow my 2016 often, no problems at all. As said, it has to be the V6 and it's good to put in a separate charge line. I bought the baseplate, light wiring, tow-charge setup all from Etrailer.com and did the installation myself. There are a couple of other issues if you need more info.Re: Why ABS instead of PVC?ABS DWV fittings are designed for the proper slope for the waste and vent flow. PVC fittings are straight tees, 90's, etc. ABS are not "straight" fittings but have a built-in angle for proper drainage. For short runs like in our rigs it really doesn't make much difference, though. Regular PVC fittings are not legal in all codes for drainage as far as I know except in labs or specialized applications.Re: Direct TVWe had some issues like that, I think the hard drive in the DVR was acting up, just like a computer drive that starts to fail. I had the guy come out and they replaced my main unit with a new Genie receiver with DVR. Works fine now, and I like the new remotes that came with it.Re: new camping world lotThey're obviously trying to dominate the whole industry (if they haven't already). Nobody likes a monopoly, that means less competition and higher prices. I make it a point to buy parts and supplies elsewhere and would never buy an rv from them.Re: Any good fuel companies for a good fuel card for travel?I never buy gas anywhere but Costco (unless out in the boonies), the price is always less than others plus with their card its an additional 4% off. Some stations have diesel now if you need it.
