All ActivityMost RecentMost LikesSolutionsWhat a mess! Maybe the intentions were good, but the outcome of the changes that GoodSam has implemented is awful. I've been a regular RV.net user since 2008, but no more for me. It's hard to find any info now. Thank goodness for iRV2, now my go-to site for RV related information and discussion. Happy Thanksgiving everyone. SolvedRe: Bringing kayaks campingRegarding inflatables...... check out the Advanced Elements line. I've been pleased with mine and they have a good general reputation as well.Re: milage questionAs others have noted, I keep a log of all my RV trips that include among other things the total miles of any excursion as well as "Trailer Miles" so I can don't include sight-seeing miles when I'm not connected to the trailer. To date, my 2009 Jayco has accumulated just over 31K miles. I also log maintenance items/expenses, gas expenditures, camping fees, etc. Maybe it's a little OCD, but keeping a journal has been fun, too.Re: What do folks tow with their SequoiasI have a 2010 V8 Sequoia 2WD and tow a Jayco 19BH that weighs in at 4500 to 4800 pounds when packed and ready to travel. No issues whatsoever and I average 9.5 to 10 mpg most of the time. I've got over 30K miles on the rig so far.Re: Tundra Brake Controller LocationSorry that the image did not appear in my original post up above. Trying again. Re: Tundra Brake Controller LocationI have a 2010 Sequoia, and I think the cab layout is the same as the Tundra. I've made a bracket that sits in the recess at the front of the console and holds my brake controller. The attached photo shows it in place. The white material on the right is simply foam wrapped around the piece that sits in the recess to keep it in place without the need for screws. That makes it easy to remove (though I actually leave it in place most of the time). Hope this helps you with ideas for your own solution.
