Have not found anywhere the additional size was a problem.Re: Leak-free Class-C?Owned three Born Free coaches, the two without cabover window never leaked. Minimal squeakers and rattles with this brand. Too bad they are out of business, highest quality class C produced.Re: Motorhome Chassis/Engine Maintenance & Towbar Install?Locally we have an excellent independent shop that specializes in trailer hitch work. They also do tow bar install and wiring. Most Ford car dealers won't do much on the E450. Independent truck shops may be your best bet. If you need front end alignment (most E450's will especially if new) go to a shop that understands the peculiarities of the E450 with motor home body.Re: Class A to Super CI have about 50,000 miles driven in a 2008 , 38 foot, Itasca Meridan on an XC Freightliner chassis and now about 20,000 miles in a 36 foot Nexus Ghost on an International Dura Star chassis. Super C has more power, more wind and engine noise, easier driver access, better engine access. Class A had a better overall ride because of front air suspension, better turning radius. Driver fatigue about same. Yearly service cost on Super C 50% less. RichRe: Fall Colorado TripSome of the best scenery and color in CO is.in the Telluride, Ouray, Silverton area. Peak color Sept. 20 to Oct.1. Might want to rent a Jeep and drive the "alpine loop".Re: Bryce Canyon NP from Denver area24/12 is one of our favorite drives of all time. Fruita CG at Capital Reef is very interesting with the wildlife, fruit trees, homemade pie, etc. Take time to tour the back canyons at Capital Reef. A great hike is to Lower Calf Creek Falls at the Calf Creek Recreation Area. They have a very nice CG (first come, first serve). Best way to enjoy Brice is a hike into the Canyon. Have a good trip. RichRe: Canadian Rockies in June 18I second the recommendation on not missing Moraine Lake.Re: Branson for seniors? We are in Branson once or twice every year offer the following suggestions. Use the alternate routes that parallel 76 hiway and the traffic is manageable. The KOA is a good CG and close to many attractions, we like Musicland but may be limited on pull thrus. Best places to eat: the Keeter Center at the College of the Ozarks, the Bradford Inn (lunch only), numerous restaurants in the "Landing " at old town Branson. Recommended shows: The Million Dollar Quartet, the Hughes Brothers , the Haywood's and the Duttons. Plan to spend some time at "Top of the Rock" and eat at one of the restaurants. Located about five miles south of Branson just west of Hwy 65. The entrance fee is deducted from restaurant or gift shop charges , it's worth the experience. PM me if you have other questions RichRe: Colorado Suggestions NeededOuray is great, koa a good base. Train is overrated Drive truck to Silverton, rent a Jeep and do the "alpine loop" Day trip to Telluride would be nice Day trip to Mesa Verde NP if kids like history. Black Canyon of the Gunnison is worth a stop.Re: Singletree Falls and Lower Calf Creek Falls UT -- May 1stNot a large parking lot, about 20 cars. Difficult to turn around if lot is busy. There is a turnout on the south side of Hwy 12 about 200 yards east of entrance to the recreation area where I have parked my motor home and hiked to the trailhead. -Great hike, try to hit the falls about noon for best photo op. Look for pictographs on east wall of canyon about half way to falls We have hiked to Lower Calf Creek Falls 3 times.
