The other part of the crime is that so much of this goes on everywhere that is why all of our policy's cost so much. Like always punish the good because of a small percentage of the the others.Re: Firestone Transforce HT tires?I hope they are good just put 4 on the rear of motorhome to replace those with splitting at the beads near the wheel lip. I was torn between the Firestone ht and the Bridgestone, I will report back after some miles and time. I will not wear them out mileage wise as I never do but I hope I am still around to replace them due to time,LOL. All the reviews I read were good and bad you just have to look thru the smoke.Re: Selling - Ohio to PA - how to get temp plates?I have bought 2 units out of state. First one I bought a temp. tag at my local DMV in Ohio and then went to Michigan and took care money and details and dove home to northern Ohio home. Second unit again from Michigan I drove to owners place and took care of purchase details and money exchange then drove home without plates and I had title in hand with transfer and bill of sale and insurance already binding on both. I am told both ways are acceptable. I would have the purchaser buy temp tag in his state and make sure he has proof of insurance with him and collect the green backs and send him on his way. I prefer the temp tag method, just felt better that way. Just my 2 centsRe: Dogs in RV parksCorky, I hear you load and clear about the internet vest. Please do us with trained and tested every year or two for proper public licensing a favor if you think it is a fake service dog then report it. We travel with 2 dogs a little yapper who is always with us but not outside or in public places. The other dog is a licensed Service Dog who performs many tasks for me 42 or more and is by side 24 / 7 so I do worry about those that aren't trained licensed because they will only cause those of us with the need to be punished. We also value both dogs and obey to rules everywhere.:) also see many "service dogs" in their internet vests in grocery stores, restaurants, tourist attractions, etc.also see many "service dogs" in their internet vests in grocery stores, restaurants, tourist attractions, etc.Re: Ford F53 fuel pumpI should look before speaking just to lazy to. My question would be does it have 2 pumps 1 tank mounted the other frame mounted. Also agree 6.85 won't get it for pump.Re: using Walmart over night. When traveling A to B we use Walmart and Loves if a wally world we have an app on kindle shows location parking or not and phone no and before we arrive we call and ask and also find out if they have a preferred area. Then when we get there we pull in and park as most are level no jacks no slides gen if needed and always look around area for signs of concern if none good nite. Loves we always purchase fuel first then go park in the most remote parking area and good nite. I have spoken to alot of the truckers and never once have they stated it bothered them. I even asked because most of us are shorter than a big rig where they liked us in the front of the space middle or back and they said didn't matter but in a pull thru middle would be better for them to pull in and out with space to turn. In a back in they said in the back as that gave them room up front to wiggle and turn. Is a truck stop save yes mess with one trucker and 10 or 15 others are right there. Just my 2 centsRe: Generator MaintenanceI didn't look in manual but air cooled I think Onan says every 100 hours and filter every time. Could be wrong but if memory serves me I believe that is correct. Any way I try to every 100 to 125 hrs and filter every time and we use ours alot.Re: GRUMPY OR WHAT?First off Kudos to you oasisbob for fostering my daughter does and it is amazing what these children have gone thru and what they appreciate as the foster parents bring new live into there lives. As far as noise is concerned in camping it is not always enforced as you know and some people are very aggressive when approached about it so caution is advised. State parks are usually always patrolled with a park ranger with far reaching power. Keep up the good fostering and good luck. What you bring to these children now will live with them the rest of there lives.Re: An lol (laughing out loud) for youI will be glad to pull the door open if you use the little screws and leave the cash in plain site, lets say on the table so I won't have any trouble finding it. LMAORe: Kwikee Steps partsBy no means am I an expert in the field but I was ready to replace mine, the controller until I stopped and took the time to follow the tests to the tee to check system as Kwikee has laid out online. Well to my surprise and relief it led me to a bad wire connection in the harness to the controller. The wire inside the harness was green and had corroded to the point of no connection. Cut off a short piece of the wire at both ends of the poor connection. Reattached and sealed connection and re wrapped and steps work great. Cost 20 cents and some time to test and trace. All I am saying is do the test as laid out on the Kwikee website and follow the results to the proper fix. Grounds and wire connections are so suspect on these motorhomes and components. Good luck happy hunting. Let us know what you find.
