I have to do right angle backing. I have seen the flex in the ST tires sidewalls when another is doing the backing. It is my understanding that the LT tires have more rigid sidewalls than the ST tires. What is the opinion for right angle/ near jackknife backing issues with LT tires on 5th wheel rvs?LED tail light upgradeThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 28585182LED tail light upgradeMy tail lights need to be replaced. The red lens cover snap pins on the mounting bracket are broken and to keep the lens cover secure, I use grizzly tape. I just replaced the tail lights on my utility trailer with waterproof LED kit I see that CW has a LED upgrade that may be surface mounted, though not sure, but I don't want something that is connected via the bulb socket. Has anyone made such upgrade, cutting the bulb socket connector off and hard wiring the new lights to the existing wires?Re: Newbies- black tank question..and if the indicator still show more than empty when you're done with dumping, use a tornado wand on the end of the hose to scrub the dried up solids off the sides, refill tank and dump it allRe: Whats Your Real Weights? Truck and Trailer. The Real DealI need to get everything weighed, it seems. My tow vehicle is a 2003 Ford F-250 crew cab, 6 Liter Power Stroke, automatic, 4x4, slide-in certified. I pull a 2005 Forest River Wildcat 29RLBS. TV has never had a problems, so far, going from eastern NC to Shennendoa Valley VA, Gatlinburg TN, or Waynesville NC. Needless to say I have towed at the eastern continental divide numerous times, having respect for safety, but with no fear. Stopping has never been a problem with TV and when pulling the 5ver, and I have to look at the rear view mirror to assure myself the trailer is still there. I looked at weight, plenty before buying the trailer. My trailer weight on the decal is much lighter than the average I see folks pulling with a similar tow vehicles. Does anyone think I need to go with a dually?
