However, since I didn't know for sure how much I would use it, I ended up with a $79 Oster convection from Walmart, mostly because of the 5-year warranty. So far, I have baked brownies, a full-sized bundt cake, made toast (it holds 9 slices), and roasted a 4 lb. chicken. I located a 9x12 pan that fits on the top rack. The convection fan is very quiet and, so far, I'm a happy camper!Re: Toaster OvenThank you, all. I'm convinced it's a good move.Toaster OvenI've never owned a toaster oven but I think I want to get one for our RV because I really don't get good results with my oven and I belong to a camping club with a carry-in once a month. I've run out of ideas for "non-cooked" items or cakes I bake days before. I would appreciate any suggestions. Convection? Size? Brand? Any experience or advice you have would be greatly appreciated.
