We’ve done business with before and are pretty confident. Fingers are crossed. Thanks everybody for your input.Re: Jeep Cherokee tail light wiring John Wayne wrote: Do you have room in the tail lights to drill and put in a separate socket with an LED light. Then you will not have to tap into the Jeeps wiring. Just run separate wire from the plug on the Jeep side to the tail light wires of the socket you installed. The Jeep lights don’t lend themselves to the separate bulb approach. Looks like the diodes are the best option for me.Re: Jeep Cherokee tail light wiringFound a great installation video on the eTrailer.com site. https://www.etrailer.com/Tow-Bar-Wiring/Jeep/Cherokee/2021/TR118821.html?VehicleID=202147213Re: Jeep Cherokee tail light wiring georgelesley wrote: We tow a 2019 Cherokee. Since we had the tow mods done by a professional shop I cannot help you there. I just want to warn you about the auto park brake. DW pulls the motorhome ahead a few feet after we are done hooking up and have done the light check. I look to make sure the tow bar is locked properly and that all four wheels are turning properly. Last time we towed a few months ago guess what, without thinking I had the drivers door open while I did the towing setup on the Jeep. Yep, the auto set for the parking brake did it’s job and the rear wheels did not turn when DW pulled ahead. A quick easy fix if you catch it early not so much if you assume all is well. Yes we have our auto brake setting turned off in the settings menu, but it still will set if the door is open. Always check! Great advice, thanks!Jeep Cherokee tail light wiringWe’ve just replaced our old CR-V with a 2021 Cherokee (with the suitable for towing Active Drive II transfer case). It’s easy to tow, just put the transfer case in neutral, shut off the automatic parking brake, and go. But, I don’t like using the magnetic “Mickey Mouse” lights I’m hoping that somebody with a 2019-21 Cherokee can give me some insight into how you wired in the tail lights. Specifically, where did you intercept the wiring harness at the rear of the vehicle to connect the isolation diodes? Any help will be appreciated.Brake Buddy Classic II with Honda CRVThis topic has been moved to another forum. You can read it here: 29810536Brake Buddy Classic II with Honda CRVWe replaced our 15 year old Brake Buddy when it finally died with a new Classic II model. Unfortunately the handle on the new one doesn’t contact the seat because the device itself hits the seat frame on one side first. Our CRV is a 2010, a pretty common toad, so there must be other owners who have seen this issue. Anybody have any good ideas to solve it? ThanksRe: Onan EC-30 settings questionThere is a new version of the EC-30 manual for version 3.15 and later (Not attached here because of copyright. The document is 0900-0541_I5_201504.pdf if you want to request it from Onan). I got it along with this explanation from ask.powergen@cummins.com: The SP Sense option should be selected based on where your shore power sense lines are connected. If the SP sense lines are connected to shore power before the transfer switch, the "Before" setting will not auto-start the generator set if it senses power, and will shut off the generator when it senses power. If the "Before" option is selected, you can then select if the generator will always start when it senses shore power lost and stop when it is restored (SP Loss "Auto"). Or if SP Loss "None" (page 8 says "Off") is selected, the generator will only start when it receives a low battery or HVAC signal. If the shore power sense lines are connected "After" the transfer switch, the EC-30 will not be able to tell if the power is coming from the generator set or shore power. In that case it does not automatically start if AC voltage is present, and does not automatically shut off when it senses AC voltage. It does not allow you options for SP Loss starting. SP Sense "None" is the same as the "After" above, and should be selected either if you don't have SP sense wiring, or if you're not sure where the SP sense wiring is located in the system.Onan EC-30 settings questionThere are two settings under "Auto Setup" that are not covered in the manual supplied with the EC-30. 1) SP Sense - options are "Before", "None" and "After". 2) SP Loss - options are "Auto" and "None". Is anybody familiar with these settings and what are the defaults? ThanksRe: Fresh Water Pump problemThe shower head on our 2015 Hurricane 32n also trickled. Removed the shower head from the hose and discovered a flow restrictor with 3 really tiny holes. After pulling that out with needlenose pliers, the shower is much better, though still not like home.
