I'm not sure when or if I will camp again. I lost my wife the eighth of December after fifty three years,camping doesn't seem to important anymore.My kids don't want me to camp alone since I have heart problems.I may sell everything this spring.

That is for reservation not for each night.I just had to change mine to a later date next month.They only charge five dollars to change date if you reschedule.That is the way it has always been for us.

I also recommend Brown County we have been camping there since the kids were little and our youngest is forty seven now. There was always something for everyone to do,two lakes to fish,swimming,horseback riding and like was mentioned in other posts Nashville is a day trip by itself with all the shops.

Thank you to everyone for all the replies,this gives us a lot of choices to think about.I forgot to tell in my post,we have a 19h Jayco hybrid so we can get into most places,yet is plenty of room for the two of us and our minni Doxie . Thanks Again.

We are mainly looking at the central part of the state.I checked the forum an only found info about Dale Hollow.We are wanting a little more quiet,like I said earlier we like to fish,ride our bikes around campground and take short walks.We are not real active at our age mainly looking for a relaxing time.One of the places we are looking at is Fort Boonesborough.

Kentucky Camping
My wife and I are looking to do a couple weeks of camping in Kentucky this summer.Just wondered if anyone has camped there and could recommend a few campgrounds? Any help would be appreciated.We are going sometime in May or June.

I am new to htt can someone tell me what you mean by PUGS and Reflectix. I plan on doing some cold weather camping and hunting and would like to stay as warm as possible.

My trailer does not have a slide and the dealer did not have a Jack knife bed that would fit.He replaced it with a hide a bed that we can't open out.Can I remove the bed part to have storage under the couch.
