I've been working my tail off at work and only recently have I had any time to relax. The old Dodge was just sitting except for when my son would take it. I finally decided it could sit in his yard easier then in mine... and then I just told him to keep it. He had a use for it and I didn't have the time. He's got some medical bills to pay and decided to put the Dodge up for sale. If I had more time... but then again, I've got stuff that needs to e done around the house before I'd ever touch the Dodge.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?I haven't been on here for quite a while. Too many other things (like work) that have taken my time. Anyway... I gave my old Ozark Dodge to my son a while ago and he's got it up for sale in the Syracuse, NY area. Click Here If I'm not correct for posting this here, I apologise in advance, but I know some of you guys are always looking for an old Dodge. This one runs great, but it needs some work.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?If anybody is interested. The noise sounded like a belt or something was going flapflapflap -- not overly metalic. Then, after it died, I put on the hazard lights. They flashed for about 2 minutes, then totally died. When I turn the key now, there is nothing more than one soft click. Starter has been replaced, engine turns by hand. Let's just address the no start problem first. If it won't turn over, and the flashers died quickly, then you most likely have a bad or discharged battery. Other possibilities are bad cables or terminals. You may have a bad alternator or regulator that did not charge the battery. Have the battery checked or try jumping the battery with another vehicle. Go for the simple stuff first.Re: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's?Double postRe: How many of us are there? Owners of Dodge based RV's? Leeann wrote: Hey, Big John! I got this 69 Travco with split rims that really need replaced --or will, might as well do it now. Why buy 14 tires when 7 will do? On May 1st, I ordered 7 solid rims from Stockton Wheel. Website said they were 139 ea, raw steel. OK. Nope, Stockton says they are 164. ea, painted + 34.50 shipping each. Then Stockton said "$25 fee just 'cause." Then Stockton said "pre-paid." On May 2d, I gave Stockton Wheel (through the dealership, who is NOT at fault for any of this) $1461-and-change. Stockton's salesman (Frank) said "4 to 6 weeks" that same day. Not happy, but hey, I understand they probably don't have 6-bolt Travco rims just laying around. Wednesday, June 4th,Randy (tire dude) called me. I was delighted, figured my wheels had come. NOPE. Stockton said "another month." I am NOT happy. Stockton Wheel has the absolute worst reputation for delivering what they promise. They are the subject of discussion on many other automotive sites. Is there a show /swap meet I dont' know about? Corvettes at Carlisle. I was down there for the day to see the show and hang out with some buddies. I have a '91.
