Not as congested as further west toward Pensacola. The St Park out on the Peninsula is right on the Beach and the sunsets are amazing. Kinda Far from stores and resturants bu we like that. We LOVE this area...going there in Oct for fall break...last Oct we stayed at St. George Island...the only draw back there is that you have to drive to the beach...you can go to the guard shack and get a pass to go out to the very end of the island (there are only 20 parking spots)...awesome fishing out there....we saw pods of dolphins every time we were out there...caught several bonnet head sharks...if you do go to this area, drive over to Apalachicola and go to Up the Creek Raw Oyster Bar...it overlooks the bay and has AWESOME food!!!!Evo by Forrest RiverDoes anyone know of a dealer for this brand of travel trailer....we live in KY or has anyone owned one....thanks!!Re: st joseph pennisula and st george island state parksLast October we stayed at St. George Island and loved it....go to the registration station and get a pass to go out to the end of the Island....there are only 20 parking spaces....lots of good fishing....my son caught a 3' hammerhead shark....lots of dolphins swimming in the bay....drive to Apalachicola....lots of quaint shops and one of the BEST restaurants...Up the Creek Raw Oyster Bar...looks out over the bay....awesome oysters and food...you'll want to stock up on groceries when going to St. Joe as there are no local stores...both places are beautiful...going to St. Joe this October and can't wait!!
