I had 32 gal of diesel in it already, was just topping off before leaving tomorrow, then I went ahead and filled it the rest of the way with diesel, I actually thought I might just drive with the gas but got cold feet. Point was they were good folks to deal with went out of their way to get me going, they were the third dealership I called.Positive experienceRunning errands w/grand boys, headed to lunch and a movie, stopped for gas, no diesel right after I put a gallon of gas in my diesel. Called bob Moore ford 405-616-3673 talked to Jeff, service advisor, this was around 10:40. Told me to bring it on down and they would get someone right on it. Got there about 11:40 and drove away a happy camper at 15:05. They are located at 8948 S. I-35 Service Road, exit 120. Hope you never need them but there is the info. Happy CampingRe: Toilet OverflowFlush the toilet then watch and see if the water quits running when you release the flush lever. If it doesn't then the seal in the valve is bad. If it does quit then my guess is wrong.Re: Big Bend- place to stayWe always stay at Davis mountains state park. About 45 min. From observatory and about 25 min. To Alpine or Marfa. It is a full days trip to big bend national park for hiking.Re: Converting to 50 ampNever done it, but have read where it has been done. If your not good with electrical just have it done. You can do it probably a weekend job. Depends how deep you have to did in your Rv to find everything. You will have to replace the electrical panel, shore power cord, some of the existing wiring, and if thinking about installing a second Ac then getting the wire to the roof. Good luck if you do and keep us posted on the mod.Re: buying older TT...as tiny homeJmho, why not put in a 500 gal concrete tank and two 50 gal plastic tanks. Run a trunk line 20 or 30 feet to a y and ten feet to each of the plastic barrels, perforate them. This will last a lot longer and you could have the concrete tank pumped out. We have a sys similar to this it has never been a problem and has only been pumped out once in 30 years. Granted it was mostly used as a vacation type cabin.Re: Is it ok to put cleaner in gray water tank dpgllg wrote: If you can dump your tanks after you get home then you can do what I do. Dump tanks at campground. Add about a 1/4 tank of water along with some laundry liquid soap and some Calgon water softener. Drive RV home. Fill tanks with water and dump. This keeps my tanks from smelling and keeps the sensors fairly clean. Dave X-2. Way I take care of mineRe: Water LeakJust info hopefully it will help. There has to be an access panel to the shower fixtures if they are reached from the back side to be able to unscrew the fittings from the faucet assembly. I have a 2012 x-roads cruiser and the access to my shower fixture are behind a top cabinet door that is to the right as you enter the trailer. My water lines are the pec with the crimped fittings, yours are probably the same. If there is no rear access you should be able to remove knobs and get to the fitting that screws onto the faucet assembly from the front and check for leaks there.Re: My "new" $2000 RVChange the fuel filters and see if that helps keep it running when placed in gear.Re: Jayco refrigerator fanI believe most come with a fan . I installed an extra fan on mine. I picked up a hot and ground off the 12 volt block at the back of the refrig. Mounted the fan, ran the ground to the fan, ran the hot to a switch, then a switch leg from the switch to the fan. The switch I placed in the wall between the refrig and counter top at the stove. I put it up just under the overhead cabinets and as close to the back wall as possible.
