DING, ding, ding.........we have a correct answer. Unless one is willing to invest in exterior sensors, such as See Level, this is the best option. I've been going to Rocky Point for over 30 years and I have never had any problem with any food items. I cross at Lukeville/Sonoyta and used to stop in Sonoyta to replenish the booze stock. As for the earlier question as to why anyone would bring food, I bring what I like and eat what I bring. Having said that I also eat a lot of meals from the palapa restaurants and food carts. The radio signal is nothing but a carrier. This type of story was often told in regards to garage door openers. Something about a code grabber stealing the transmission and recording it for future use. I'm not saying they don't exist, at some level, but in over 25 years as a garage door contractor I never saw one. And believe me, I looked. While it may be worth the cost of R&D for such a device to steal a million dollar plus motor home or a high end sports car,the thieves that would steal a normal car or trailer will use much cruder methods to achieve their goal. Was just there, at Playa Bonita RV Park, from Oct 15-24 and had absolutely no issues. Border crossing was as easy as usual. Virtually all restaurants, we only ate outdoors, require everyone to wear masks. Only place I felt uncomfortable was the Malecon where most of the vendors didn't wear masks and we avoided after finding that out. BTW There are parking meters all along the Malecon now. I would not hesitate to return if they keep taking the pandemic as seriously as they are now. RichH473Views0likes0Comments
