The motor that it uses is a 214 1001> I ordered one through Amazon and the Motor Matched exactly except one thing. The shaft on the new motor is about 1/8t of an inch to long and there is a shoulder on the that will not allow the gear to slide all the way into place. I went back and checked what I had ordered and it was for the proper number motor. I am having difficulty finding the proper motor with the right shaft and shaft length. HElp me out PLEASE!READY BRAKE GREAT SERVICEI've had a ready brake for years having used it first to tow our Suzuki Samari on a trip to AK. It's so easy to use after it has had a proper instaliation. We recently bought a 2014 Honda crv. I didn't feel confortable installing everything myself. I drove over to Ready Brake manufacturing plant in Iola Kansas for the instalition. They had never installed one on the CRV so the photographed all the steps to assist others in installation. THey did a very nat job, sell a very good product and let us dry camp on their property for 2 nights while we had ours installed and a friend had one installed too.Re: Installing Brakebuddy in 2014 HondaIf you use your search engine and type in installing ready Brake on Honda 2014 Crv you can find photos of where nthey drilled the floorboard/firewall on ours. It's a different brake system than yours but the brakeaway is similar and they explain how to measure where to drillFurnace and Air conditioner troubleLast fall we were camping in a Corp park and had the Air conditioner on in the living room. We have 2 airs and two furnace in our 35 ft 1998 Pace Arrow. During the night I was awaken with rhe furnace motor kicking on. I turned both units off but heard a loud relay clicking from behind the breaker panel. The next day I unplugged the front furnace motor so that we could continue using the Air. When I got home I checked the contacts behind the Climate control panel and made sure all connections were tight and didn't have any more problems until this month. We were away from the rig and when we returned the front furnace motor was running. Nothing was turned on no heat or air. Once again I unplugged the front furnace and we used the rear furnace for heat when we needed it. Could the Intellitec Climate control be causing this problem. We have been having the loud relay noise often even when noting is in use. I've located the Intellitec main control board behind the breaker panel and an Intellitec Transfer Relay Delay box in the same location. I think the relay noise is coming from this box. Does anyone have an Idea on what is causing my problem? I guess it could be a short in the wiring tooRe: Oh No! Friend making big RV mistake...again.We knew som people once that just had to have an RV they bought a beautiful large MH wrecked it twice because he was a poor driver and gave up RVing. I doubt that any arguement in the world would have talked them out of this purchase and it would up costing them a bundle. I usually advise people to rent an RV like or similar to the one they are thinking about and see if they really like the lifestile.Re: Travel on Old Route 66We have just jumped in the MH and driven west on old route 66 for a couple of days with no expatations and no real destination its a lot of fun to drive the old road. There are some good sections in Okla Missouri, NM and Arz If you have never been on the road everything will be new and interesting. Have fun! Springfield Missouri has a real neat museum on the Square and has some of the road well marked.Re: Maxxfan repair. Fixed for now.Call the factory on this one they may warenty the switch and I am sure they will help you with your problem. A friend called them on a problem he was having on his old rig and they sent him all the parts no questions askedRe: Have you ever felt threatened while camping?Always have one in the rig. Never felt the need to use it. Once while boondocking we had a car load of men go round and round our rig and I thought it may get thretening so I got behind the wheel and left.Re: Need more Adult RV ParksI am one of the 65 and older crowd that doesn't like to be only around older folks I much prefer to hear the sound of kids in a campground and would not campground that did not allow kids. To each his own.Re: Florida panhandle in marchIn my experience I find it quite cold in March. Don't get me wrong I'll be there in march in fact I might even go swimming but there will be some very cold days for sure
