Yes I am using XP SP3. Now here is a twist. A couple of windows updates installed and then the comp restarted and was still having high CPU usage. I went to install a new version of IE 8 and it stopped part way through the install and said it couldn't finish and then restarted the comp and after it rebooted all is back to normal with the CPU usage. My 98 cardinal does the same thing and I tracked it down to one of the relays sticking.It seems to be worse after it has sat for a long time.There is a relay for going in and one for going out and they should be right behind the pump where the main cable hooks to the pump. I lost the manual for my General Electric corded phone and can't find a manual online. I changed the batteries in it and now I need to reset it but can't figure it out as it has been a few yrs since I last reset it and the mind isn't what it used to be.:h I don't suppose anyone has a manual that they could send me a PDF file of.
