How long of a trailer can I tow?Air bags and you are good to go....... salesman told me! 40 footer for sureRe: Campgrounds around SeattleForgot to update! Was a great stay. 5 nights there, one night on the way in Ritsville and one night in Moyie BC on the return. The park is tight but knew that booking. Did take a site on the end so at least no trailer right beside us on the one side. Met lots of nice folks although we were out and about everyday. Yanks and Mariners split the 2 games we took in. Lots of nice places to eat and get a good beer. Prices in Canada have rose but I was shocked seeing the rise in Washington and Idaho. Even for basics at the safeway and Walmart. Was a great trip as we have been landlocked so to speak the past few years. With two boys 16 1nd 19, mom and me, probably not many road trips remaining.... sad. Enjoyed Bothell and will be returning . Thanks for all suggestions again. Your North neighbor!Re: Campgrounds around SeattleI booked us into Pleasant RV Park for 5 nights and got tickets to Yankees and Mariners. Will take in the city sites and experience some of the attractions we missed last time.Re: stuck dump valve msmith1.wa wrote: I replaceded the braided cables on mine with these last year after one broke. These are a thin single piece similar to an electritian's fish tape. cable I had to operate on the underbelly on my trailer also a few years ago ( not medically certified in my province but oh well....) due to similar issue with the handle. Was a pain to cut section of chloroplast out and get to the issue. I replaced with the one shown above also.Re: $2.00/litre for diesel - Time to use the wife’s vehicleMy wife drives a similar model!Re: Campgrounds around SeattleThanks all. Will look into those.Campgrounds around SeattleHi all. Now with baseball back on, I want to take the family to Seattle area as we have done before to catch a game . Looking around Aug 7-14 . We have stayed at the KOA outside of Seattle and research looks like it is closed. We are a family of 4 traveling with a 40 foot toyhauler. Any recomendations on a nice campground with proximity to the city? ThanksRe: Towing performance - F150 vs F250I had a 2010 Max tow f150 with the 5.4. LT rubber etc. 7700 gvwr My fifth wheel at the time was a Cougar 27sab. It was 6900 dry ( weighed) and pin around 1200. I was always around 8000 pounds and that still put me right at payload, axle, but under tow rating by more than 3000 pounds. I did add a superspring right away and used this combo for 3 years but as the boys grew what we dragged along with us also did. Even then, power was not the issue but being so close on the ratings ate at me and jumped to a F350 with 6.7. The trailer you are looking at will be happier with 250. Best of luck!!! You are wise to ask.Re: Tires---Ouch$ 1575 for a set of toyo AT3 just last week and that is just the rubber sitting in my garage as my winters are on. LT 275/65 20 for a 2017 350. that is 300 better than any price I could even find up here in the North country. Shopping wheels now and with sensors looking at around another 2200. here is the kicker for me..... In the past year... new Sailun on my toyhauler, new Carlisel on my drift boat trailer, new winter blizacks for the truck and now the toyos....ouch!!!! if you want to play you have to pay.Re: Rims for 35020 I have Sailun on my toyhauler. I see some HD trucks with those tires. They seem to come in at a good price.
