I wondering how many are in that age bracket and how much longer do you think you will be wheeling a motor home around. I hope to do so for another 8 to 10 years. I've spent most of my life with teen agers, teaching was my career. I think that has helped keep me young and a little crazy. :W Well I don't know about how long you will be driving. HOWEVER I was taught how to pass my schoolbus driver's test and motorcoach test by an 84 year old that loved what he did he is still driving as a relief driver for the basket ball team and he is 89. I know a priest that would say Mass at my church who was 96 and drove with a lead foot all the way from Jefferson City to Mansfield Mo which is 180 miles . We are living much longer and my Father who turned 73 this month is traveling running an electrical company doing federal contracts. I think you should be driving for at least 10 more years. I am 45 I could die tomorrow and not drive and you can go for another 10/15 years. never know. This is my opinion.Re: Be careful, Don't let this happen to youwhen you jack up these RVs oe buses use wood blocks 4 by 4 and I put them under the axles and I also put more in places. I hate going under these vehicles. wood blocks are the answer some idiots use concrete blocks not goodRe: Anyone have a wife who overpacks motorhome? How could you only get 2 mpg?? that is horrible..Re: What is the single best part of RVing?the second best thing about RVing is like one poster said it stars and runs. I will ads also that it don't break down.Re: Anyone have a wife who overpacks motorhome? jsmart wrote: Sorry to hear your solo shaneperch. My DW likes to "nest" in the MH. I wish the the manufacturers would lobby against this, makes you not want to buy anything newe. I hate to hand over 3000 to an agency for basically doing nothingRe: What is the single best part of RVing?Buying your first RV to me is the best thing.Re: Replacing Horn - Want a LOUD One Executive wrote: Didn't Florida recently have a big to do over train horns..? Seems I read they passed legislation outlawing them....Dennis Wouldn't surprise me.. usually it's either NC or Texas or NY that passes annoying laws first.Re: motorhome widthRight that makes sense cause my two buses are 96 inches wide. Which doesn't bother me they are 35 and 40 feet long and there is plenty of room for just me. The next bus/motorhome i get will be 102 inches wide though.
