My 2006 Dodge 3500 DRW 4x4 pulls like a freight train... 55,700 orig miles. Payload to spare and the unmatched stability of a DRW. I'd recommend an auto slider in the brand of your choice for your bed length. Our PullRite is in our second Dodge truck and has performed flawlessly since late 2006. I've seen far too many crunched in cabs and shattered rear windows to even consider chancing it in a short box truck. Installing an auto slider for me was like changing to LT tires... peace of mind, no worries, no need to look back, just get out and have a enjoyable camping experience.489Views0likes0CommentsRe: Pull tests
I rarely do a pull test, when the handle on my PullRite goes in you can hear it lock. I do normally look in with a flash light to be sure the jaw is fully wrapped around the pin. We've had a rear kitchen, front kitchen and now a mid kitchen,all worked well for us. We do prefer the rear living area with the big rear picture window though and being able to access everything with the slides in.
