We had our 2002 Itasca painted by him, around 5 or so years ago. It still looks like a brand new motorhome. Totally removes everything, blue-inks, sands, primes and painted up to 4 colors. Separately paints awnings, mirrors, etc. and it is truly a factory job. At that time, I think it was 12k. I remember that there were a few good shops near the Tiffin factory in Re Bay, Al. Expect to pay $18k these days, but if your motorhome is in good shape other than the exterior, it's worth it, as you know what you've got vs buying an unknown for a lot more money.Re: What cellular company? For data, we have two hotspots, one is on AT&T's unlimited 4G/LTE data Connected Car Plan at $20/mo, and the other is on Verizon's prepaid unlimited 4G/LTE plan at $65/mo with autopay. Both prices plus tax and fees. Both of our Android phones have VOIP apps installed that let us use our hotspots for phone calls at no cost. Both of our Android phones have VOIP apps installed that let us use our hotspots for phone calls at no cost. That particularly works well when we're in a weak Verizon area, but a good AT&T area. Over the past few years, we've only rarely found an area where only AT&T or Verizon work, but not both. Most places we've been both work acceptably well, although one is usually a bit better than the other. Do you mind sharing which VOIP app you are using? There are so many to sort through, and some require your friends to have the app, etc. Which one works for you?Re: Bridge or Router?OK, thanks Gordon. I was going to leave the modem DHCP on, turn the wifi router DHCP off, and move the CAT cable from the WAN port to a LAN port, but since this double NAT doesn't seem to matter, I'll just leave everything set to defaults. Apparently won't have any noticeable affect on speed?Re: Bridge or Router?OK, will do. But just as an additional morsel of info, if I unplug the CAT5 cable from the router WAN port, and connect the modem directly to my laptop, the laptop accesses the web just fine. If the modem generated 10.10.x.x, would that still work? I don't know about this stuff... just trying to learn a little.Re: Bridge or Router? GordonThree wrote: what are you trying to accomplish? i would stick with "router" unless you've purchased multiple IP addresses from your ISP and you know how to set up the subnet. Simply trying to streamline the system, but using whatever protocol is correct. The Netgear modem is set to be a router (DHCP on), and it is feeding another ROUTER, which needs to have DHCP on. I thought that might create a conflict. Maybe not.Re: Bridge or Router? joebedford wrote: DHSC? Maybe DHCP? Yew, DHCP. Senior moment :)Bridge or Router?Netgear modem port connected to WAN port of a Netgear router. Router DHSC is set to on. Seems to me that "Bridge" woyld be correct. (modem default setting is Router). Should I change it?Re: Has Photobucket released your photos held hostage last year?Does anyone here have an idea on why I don't have the 'Download' option under 'Actions' as you can see in my screen shots, previous post? Seems to be the only way to get photos back to my computer, and it doesn't give me the option. Anyone?Re: Remove 50amp genset and replace with 50 shore power^^^ This ^^^, what Dutch said. It will be simple, inexpensive, and you will have the best of both worlds; you'll have both A/C's when on shore power, and still have the generator, which powers everything already. The only new procedure will be you will have 2 cords to plug in to the pedestal; the existing 30A shorepowr cord, and the newly added 20A service which you'll simply plug in to oneof the 20A/120V receptacles in the power pedestal.Re: Has Photobucket released your photos held hostage last year? drsteve wrote: How to get your photos off of Photobucket. drsteve, as I said in a previous post about this link, it does not work; there is no option to download under the Actions. I had already tried this. Then someone suggested to create a sub-folder, which I did, called PB. I cannot find a way to move my pictures to that folder, so I uploaded two pictures from my computer, just to see if then it provided the download option. Even with 2 pictures in that sub, as you can see, no option to download. So aparantly, even if I could move all the pics in the main library to the sub-folder, there will be no option to download. I am thinking that because I am not a paid subscriber to pb, they are not allowing me that option. If that's not it, what is?
