I had my dash apart last year when I put a new radio in and forgot those wires when I put it back together. Didn't figure it out until a week later when I went to reset the ODO.Re: Leveling kits and travel trailersDepends on why you want the leveling kit. It won't change anything when towing, other than to make the front end sit higher. The rear will squat the same regardless of a leveling kit or not... it just may look like it is squatting more because it will probably be lower than the front. I've got one on my F250 and haven't noticed any adverse effects while towing.Re: When windstorms attack... Need awning partsLooks like PPL has the best prices... gotta buy both arms, but that's probably for the best. I'll keep the old ones for random parts that I may need down the road.Re: When windstorms attack... Need awning partsDyers looks to be the cheapest that I've found thus far. I was hoping to just get the arm, but it looks like the motor and arm is all one assembly and must be purchased together for ~$350. Has anyone ever replaced just one arm? It was dark when I got out there, so I didn't really get to take a good look at how it all went together. When windstorms attack... Need awning partsHad a sudden windstorm come through this evening and caught the awning while it was out.... one arm is twisted up pretty good. Any idea where I can get just the arm? The motor is good, so I don't need that; I just need the arm. This is on a 2010 Jayco that has an electric auto-adjustable awning. I've done some googling, but all I can find is the full awning. Hoping to get this ordered and maybe fixed up and operating as soon as possible! Thanks!Re: Water heater plastic plug cross threadI never pull my plug to drain the water heater... just open your low point drains, open the hot side of a faucet, and open the pressure relief valve on the water heater. It will drain out through the pipes. It takes a little while, but it's easy and you don't have to worry about the drain plug.Re: Gen-Y torsion Receiver Hitch...Even with the WD applying upward forces, the hitch should work the same since there is a torsion joint on top and bottom. Either way the hitch moves (up or down) will be cushioned with this hitch. I've got a ProPride, so I don't see how this could work with that hitch, but I think it's a great idea for any large trailer that gets taken any long distance down the road.Re: Gen-Y torsion Receiver Hitch...Definitely send pictures when you get it all set up!Re: need the value of demo tacoma pickupWhile I agree with most things that everyone is saying, you have to remember that we're talking about Toyota here... they seldom offer rebates (substantial ones, anyway), and don't really have to come down on the price because people will buy them regardless. If the OP doesn't buy the used Tacoma at the listed price, someone else will. Regardless of whether you agree, this is how they operate, and I'd say that they are pretty good at it.Re: my first disappointmentI don't like DRLs because people think that they are good enough in the rain, as in, they don't turn on their headlights in the rain anymore because they have DRLs. A lot of times, tail lights are more important in the rain that headlights, and it isn't always dark enough outside for the auto feature in most new cars to kick on.
