For the theives, its just a nuisance. Sorry to hear it happened.Re: Oklahoma to NC - SC tripI also use rvparkreviews.com to lookup campgrounds For your Greensboro stop, I can suggest Oak Hallow campground in High Point. Its not Greensboro, but just a hop/skip away. From I40 east of Winston Salem, you can take US 311/Future I74 down to High Point and exit on Johnson St to get to Oak Hallow. When you leave, take 311 to I85 or Business I85 North back on your route. The cg is owned/operated by the city and the rate is $35 per night. They do not take reservations. http://www.highpointnc.gov/pr/oak_hollow_campground.cfmRe: good or badWe just returned from a week long stay and there is no doubt we'll go back. In comparison to the southern CGs (OL, PL & LW) MBTP was a better fit for us. A lot fewer golf carts, nice amenities, and good sized sites. My only complaint is the WiFi was really, really slow and unreliable. We have a new favorite MB campground.Re: Charlotte NC area campgroundsIf you want easy access to the convention center and airport, then the closest to both is Fieldridge Acres (www.fieldridgeacres.com). Weve stayed there a few times. .. not best on amenities, but a nice place to stay for a few days while in town.Re: Charlotte NC area campgroundsNot sure what you may prefer or what side of town/distance you want. We've stayed at Kings Mt just in SC off i85... State Park so low cost and nice. To downtown Charlotte, probably 45 minutes to an hour. Closer is Fieldridge Acres, near the Airport. Its a nice campground for a short stay, but low amenities. There are several others in the region... Checkout RVPParkReviews.com for more.Re: flying JI still use FJ from time to time. I don't think they are as good as they used to be since the merger (take over if you like) with Pilot. I have been in some really good ones (Rock Hill, SC), and some REALLY bad ones (Pecos, TX).Re: good or badWe'll be staying there for the first time in a few weeks. We've stayed at Pirate Land and Ocean Lakes in the past, so we'll see and compare.Re: Oil Change Frequency-V10I had a v10 Excursion and loved it... A rock solid engine. I've always said the 3k miles was big ol "make money" lie. The engine, oil and filters today are made to withstand a lot more strenuous workloads. I generally say 5k is the standard, but you can go 7.5k miles. Always check the fluid levels every 1k miles or so, the greatest risk is low level and not oil break down. All if that said.., if you feel better changing it at 3k, then do that.Re: Traveling to San Antonio TxBlazing Star RV - http://www.sunrvresorts.com/Community/bst
