Using that checklist will take 2hrs, tell the dealership you want 2 hours to do your own check. I used blue painters tape to mark what needed to be fixed. The dealership fixed everything that was taped. Don't sign anything until you check it over.Re: Devils Lake State ParkI stayed in that spot 2 years ago. I was able to put my 30 foot travel trailer in there with no problems. The road is fairly wide.Re: Devils Lake State ParkI stayed there last year and wasn't very impressed. There was lots of interesting people wondering in and out of the camp ground. The camp ground is small and there aren't very many sites that can handle a larger trailer. We stayed in site #B10 it is 53 feet long and it is easy to get into.Re: Fewer pop ups out there? RVIA’s 2014 projection for each of the major RV product types, which included: travel trailers, 206,100 units; fifth-wheels, 73,000 units; folding camping trailers, 11,000 units; truck campers, 3,500 units; combined towable, 293,600 units; Class A motorhomes, 21,000 units; Class B motorhomes, 2,600 units; Class C motorhomes, 18,300; all motorized, 41,900 units; all RVs, 335,500 This is a quote out of RV business. 11,000 units is only 3% of the total RV sales. Obviously consumers aren't to interested in pop-ups. I have noticed that there isn't as many pop-ups also. I think part of the problem is that there isn't as many manufactures making them anymore. Manufactures probably make more money off of the other type of RVs.Re: Oregon Dunes-beach camping? Mike E wrote: Jesse Honeyman SP in Florence has full hookup sites that you can directely access the dunes from this time of the year.....the gate is closed during the summer, but they open it up for the 'offseason' You will want to reserve in the back of the park, I believe it is loop H. They also have full hook-ups in that loop. This is a really nice state park with easy access to the dunes.Re: Got some road hazard damage today. PicsAngela will be able fix to fix the fender in no time. I wish my wife was that handy.Re: Problem CougarSounds like you need to stay on the service department. Make sure to voice you concerns about delamination. Become the squeaky wheel with them. If you aren't getting the service you desire look for another service center that will take on the warranty work.Re: PDI chargesThe last trailer I bought they never even tried to charge for the PDI. When we did the PDI the salesman had a technician with him to fix all the things that were wrong. I wish most dealers would look at a PDI as a chance for good customer service not a profit point.Re: 5th wheel.Like others have said practice, practice, practice. When I go camping I avoid getting pull thru's, this forced me to learn to backup. I have only owned my 5er since July and I think I have gotten pretty good at maneuvering it. Just be patient and practice.Re: Fixing or Replacing the underside panelThe tape you are referring to is called underbelly seam tape.
