I've had two companion hitches, one with the B&W mount and the one now has the Ford puck system. Both are very good hitches, but the one now is hard to separate the head from. It has to be mounted in the truck to get it off. I don't see any abnormal wear or feel any problem when towing.Re: Tonneau coverX3 on the Retrax, Great coversRe: Black Hills, SDWe stayed at Beaver Lake campground just west of Custer last October. Very nice, clean, easy access, would definitely stay there again. And yes, plan on at least 3-4 days, a lot to see.Res FrigWe just got our new Solitude 369 fifth wheel with a residential frig. I keep it at the house and plugged in all the time. Is it best to let the frig run all the time or try to turn it off when it its not needed? What is the best way to keep it from running all the time? Thanks for any help. ChrisRe: I-44 in OklahomaAs earlier mentioned, it also works in the Dallas area and the Kansas toll roads. ChrisRe: I-44 in OklahomaI would recommend getting the pike pass. You don't have to slow down and go through the toll lines, it is a 10% discount, and it will only charge you for two axles. I pull my trailer and boat on the turnpikes quite a bit. You won't have any trouble with the width. ChrisRe: Monument Valley and Redwood Forest in AprilWe're considering this trip also. I'm not familiar with California, are the redwoods in the northern or southern region, or both?Re: What is the best BBQ grillNot very well known, Hasty Bake 380 Ranger charcoal grill. I also have the Legacy for grilling at home. Very good quality grills and cook excellent but on the expensive side.Tulsa to Killeen TexasI'm going from Tulsa on Hwy 75 through Dallas to Killeen Texas. Will it be faster to go straight through Dallas or take the 635 loop to the east? Thanks for the info. ChrisRe: Fifth Wheel ??we've had our 337 for about 18 months and love it. It had some minor issues that were not construction issues, it was parts suppliers issues. I towed with a Ford F250 SB the first year and it towed great, didn't feel like I needed a bigger truck but my Ford quit on me and had to get another one and went with the F350 CCLB. It towes it better but I still feel a 3/4 ton is plenty truck for this FW. Grand Design is a great company and they stand behind their products.
