All travel trailers are compromises and there are things we really like and things we don't care for. The 31SQB has about the roomiest bathroom you can get and my wife and daughters love it and all the mirrors. The kids also really like the bunkhouse setup. Personally, I don't like the short closets in the master bedroom. Overall, the quality is pretty good. The only warning I'd give you is to make sure it has a 15k btu air conditioner. The 13.5 btu unit doesn't get the job done in 95+ degree weather.Re: Upgrading to a 15k btu air conditioner?Follow up: After another miserably hot trip last September I upgraded to a 15k btu air conditioner. We have been on the south Texas coast for a week now and the upgraded ac has worked great. The difference between this ac and the original 13.5 one is huge and was well worth the money. I left the reducer in over the winter and some rust formed where the bottom of the reducer and the reciever meet. I had to knock the reducer out with a block of wood and a hammer. What should I do to take care of this problem and is there anything that can be done to prevent it from recurring? Due to the stresses and friction, I guess that paint would wear off quickly? Thanks.Re: Basic tool kitI've used my toolkit a lot more than what I thought I would when I put it together. More so for things like bikes, bbq grills and other things that are not necessarily connected to the TT. You can get a small toolbox saw that will handle wood, plastic and pvc. Mine is a Stanley (shark or tigershark, not sure anymore )that has come in handy.Re: Do you Travel with bedroom TV mounted or do you take it off?19", 24" and a 32" all stay mounted while traveling and no problems.Re: buying new truck, assistance neededChevrolet ball/hitch towing specs for a 2013, 2500HD, Crew cab 4x4: 4.10 - 13,000lbs 3.73 - 9,400lbsRe: buying new truck, assistance needed USSCV66 wrote: Thanks everyone, I think I am going for the 2500 with the 6L in it. Thanks for the help everyone. Be advised: there's a big difference in tow ratings between the 3.73 and 4.10 rear diff's. Big difference in mpg's too. You'll be fine with a 3.73, but it does somewhat limit future upgrade options.
