In my brief research, I saw the following seem to be popular: 1. Coachmen V-Trec V3 2. Rockwood Extreme Sports Package 232ESP Any feedback is welcome and appreciated. Brian Go here This has turned into an RV only site and they don't like PUPsRe: Running refrigerator on house battery, How long?A few years ago I did a test when I started using a 5 cu/ft residential fridge when boondocking. I could go 2 days on 2 12v batteries... Here is the linkRe: Which forum would my trailer fall under PAThwacker wrote: Yeah pop ups are dead on rv.net and camping in general. Most are buying the single axle trailer debaucheries before figuring it out. I have pups for boondocking use only. Some things (and people) never change. You seem to have a better opinion about pop ups on the Portal though....Re: No! I’m not top heavy.Something ironic about RVers pointing at others and saying "that's top heavy!" LOLRe: 2005 F150 tow ratingThere should be a tag on the rear diff cover. Most F150s of that year range came with a 3.55 or 3.73 gear ratio. Metal tag bolted to the diff cover will read: 3 55 = 3.55 ratio (duh) 3L55 = 3.55 locker 3 73 = You get the idea...... The odds of someone changing the gear ratio are slim.... The odds of that tag not going back on after a diff service are greater but most never service the rear axle. Payload sticker is in the door jam and most are around 1500-1700 lbs.Re: Anyone ever use one of theseI use forceps to open the relief valve. Set the relief valve at 11:00 with the 20lb bottle upside down, slowly start filling the 1lb tank holding the relief valve open until liquid sprays out. Gloves help.... I've been placing a 2 gallon gas can on a tray attached to my rear bumper on my camper for years, what's the problem? And it's held down with a bungee cord too. Nobody has called 911 scared out of their wits on me, better to not clutter up an emergency line for a trivial thing. By the way, my gas can has never fallen off either...Re: Removing decal residue from fiberglassLOL, I use camp fuel or Kerosene. Won't hurt paint and we all probably have some. Use it for bug and tar removal on paint too. AdamRe: Single axle TT's All I could afford wrote: For those of us in the Northeast, a side benefit is the savings in Tolls on a single axle trailer. The nearest toll bridge to my house charges $21 PER AXLE INCLUDING THE TOW VEHICLE. $63 for a single axle becomes $84 for a tandem axle. Heading south to the beach area is also bad. Toll booth every 20 miles or so on the Garden State Parkway $4.50 for single axle versus $6.00 for tandem... about six tollbooths between me and the beach I like. Cr@p, and I thought California ripped people off with tolls. About $28.00 to cross the Golden Gate with a 2 axle trailer. Other bay area bridges slightly cheaper. I do wonder how long the untreated OSB floor will last when driving in the rain. That OSB will deteriorate quickly into a soggy mess. OSB has to be by far, the worst sub flooring material available...cheapest too. AND the electrical wiring that is running threw the frame with no support, or grommets.. How long will it take to create a short ? LOL: My 10 year old OSB floor looks like new, same as the OSB floor looked in my last 2 travel trailers. They're all made like cr@p. The electrical wiring has the same grommets my previous 2 travel trailers had. They're all made like cr@p. Somebody forgot to unlatch a corner before raising the roof, that's all. Doesn't make it defective or a lemon, just an oops but either the dealer or buyer should have noticed this before taking delivery. Adam
