We have a 2013 Primetime Lacrosse and we love it. Unfortunately about a month ago as I was checking the suspension and noticed that the frame is cracked above the rear spring hanger on each side of the camper. A quick google search will show you that this is a gigantic problem on the Lippert frames they use. I will never own another Primetime product.323Views0likes0CommentsRe: Terrible Trucks
I definitely don't agree with the brutal depreciation. I bought a 2012 Ram 2500 Tradesman brand new in 2012 for 39,000. Bought that model because it was in my budget. Paid it off in 48 months. I got the itch for a new truck in April of 2018, 6 years later and traded it in for 33,000 and bought a 2500 Laramie. 6 years use 50k miles and only lost 6k. Thousand a year depreciation isn't bad. I like some of those Durango plans and the look. Just seems like due to the half ton series being lighter the carrying capacity is only 1400 to 1700 lbs. That's one of the complaints with my tt now is the low capacity. We are considering making the move to a fifth wheel and were really considering the Grand Design Reflection 311BHS floorplan but then walked through the Cougar 364BHL floorplan. They are both priced very similar and ave the same features. We really like the bigger beds for the kids as they grow in the Cougar but for some reason, I have it in my head that Cougar is not as nice a brand as Grand Design? The only other downfall (maybe) is the height of the Cougar. Its listed a full foot taller than the Reflection at 13'5? What are your thoughts?4.1KViews0likes5Comments
