What happens if I use a weight distribution system on my utility trailer being pulled as a second trailer behind my f350?Re: Need someone to decipher this diagram.Oh, Lordy. I feel like a fool! The whole issue is about I just ran low in the fresh water tank. We are parked at home!(another long story) and it's amazing how fast you run through 65 gallons of water till the tank needs filling again. We are going to install a second outdoor spigot in the house for soft water. That way we can have soft water hook up to house, electric to the tool shed and waste tanks have to be dumped off-site regularly. Not doing badly with the quarantine. Just learning t Io cope like everyone else.Need someone to decipher this diagram.I have a 2007 JAYCO Designer fifth wheel. If I can post a pic of the manifold in the basement I need to understand how it works. My pump is having shut-off issues. Using it right along for seven months. Now it won’t always shut off by itself. Will run all night. But if you drop pressure even more by running some water (it runs very slowly) then the pump will get to pressure n shut off. I can’t get pic posted... sorryRe: Shrinking trimOk, then. Thanks for the responses. Most of the stuff you buy that is for “RV” is crazy expensive, that’s why I asked. Thanks again, n safe travels to all!Shrinking trimWondering what you all do about exterior plastic trim that shrinks? We have a 12yr old JAYCO fifth wheel whose outer trim is exposing some gaps of up to an inch. Must I replace all that and how do I get the correct pieces? I hate to use caulk, cause it usually droops out on vertical surfaces.Re: Raising fifth wheelOh, I have a 2015 F350 SRW short box Platinum model Lariat. Way nicer truck than I deserve!Re: Raising fifth wheelThanks 2naEagle, that sounds like what I was looking for. From looking forward Nader my fiver, I don’t see why I can’t put axle under spring instead of over. Brackets the same. Still weight on wheels. I going to jack up anyway to replace shackle bolts with greaseable ones, so I could do it then.Raising fifth wheelLittle rant first! C’mon, I know there has been discussion on this topic! Why is the search engine so particular? What I’m after is, Is it possible? I had to trade trucks and some features were pretty important. I wanted a SRW and all that was available was a short bed. Got tired of being stranded in the old truck. So, didn’t want to wait too long to trade. Here’s the question. The newer truck is taller in bed than old. Even in lowest position, the fiver is still pretty high. How will it work to change position of axle, spring location, etc? Is there a potential for disaster?Re: Fresh water useBy the way, and just for clarification, old trojan does not refer to a used prophylactic. I was the mascot at my high school 50+ years ago and dressed like a trojan soldier and graduated in 1966! In these days of age-old indiscretions coming back to haunt fellas, I thought I’d better explain! Y’all be safe out there. It’s a jungle!!Re: Fresh water use Joe417 wrote: #1 connects the pump input #2 connects the tank output. It feeds the water pump. #3 connects the tank input. #4 connects the external hose fitting #5 connects the camper water lines to the system Joe417 wrote: My panel looks just like this except the word country does not appear. When I choose city fill, out city water, I must turn the pump switch to off, or it will run continuously. Therefore the pump cannot run when I am hooked up to city water and have selected city water on the panel. No offense meant to anyone and none taken from any answers. For me at this time, it is just one of those things I can’t explain, and I can live with it. Thanks all, david
