You don't know me and you don't know my abilities. Re: 2025 GMC sierra 1500 4x4 towed behind motorhome Thanks so with battery disconnected the truck will stay in ACC mode? I would have to look at battery switch again to see how it would get power if hooked to negative side. Dan 2025 GMC sierra 1500 4x4 towed behind motorhome Is anyone flat towing a 2025 GMC 1500 Sierra 4x4 behind motorhome. Manual says the following Put transfer case in neutral and return to park. Put ignition in accessory mode disconnect battery ground. I see trailer sells a battery disconnect switch for battery put it is for the positive side. So my question is can this be utilized instead of disconnecting ground. When battery is disconnected no power to vehicle. Will truck stay in accessory mode to be able to turn steering. manual also says once transfer case in neutral vehicle can move in park. Does vehicle stay in park or does it need to be in neutral also. i would like to set up to tow behind ma class A but want answers to the questions first. from experience Rvers Dan Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} Dale we stayed at jolly Roger’s back in 2014. Big place and nice. You are right it is just before 7 mile bridge. It usually took us around 1/2 hour to get to key west from there. You will enjoy. Dan and Patty Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} Good morning. It is hard to find this site. But I get emails when someone post. I hit the reply button and login and it takes me right there. hope everyone is doing well. We had a trip planned for February but had to cancel. Seems like every time we think are able to head out something happens. Spring is starting to arrive here in Ohio so maybe we can get out soon. Re: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} I still look from time to time. it is very difficult to find. I used to look every morning but since they changed the forum it is a pain. i do get emails when someone post. Dan Re: I77 South Thanks Dale. I did contact Tamarck and the Truck stop is open and they do allow overnight RV parking in the lower lot. That will be backup plan if we run out of daylight and can not make it to Wytheville. Dan Re: I77 South Thanks Dale. i called the Tamarack a few weeks ago and all I got was they were closed and under construction. I was going to call them again after the first. We usually do make it through WV and stay in Wytheville. This is our first trip South in Motorhome and I cannot travel at speeds I did with truck and fifth wheel. So I don’t know if I can make it that far before dark as it gets dark pretty early in January. Without having to get on the road early. happy New Year and safe travels. Dan I77 South Will be traveling I77 south from Cleveland Ohio to Wytheville Virginia. looking for a place to stop for the night around Beckley or before. Any ideas? be traveling in Class with a tow. does anyone know if Tamarck near Beckley is open and can you spend the night in Rest Area. thanks in advance Dan SolvedRe: A very old stray {The Old Fella Story} We hope you stay safe.
