With it on, I only get satellite reception when driving south. Let us know what you find out.Re: SRW Picture Thread Re: Wolf Creek/ Artic Fox owners GeoBoy wrote: On the fuel storage for my generator I mounted a RotoPax L bracket and 2 - 2 gallon RotoPax fuel containers on my Fox Landing. Do you have a pic of how you mounted this?Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today?Installed a backup camera on the AF990 that plugs into the OEM backup camera plug on the truck. Re: Carport opinionsI have an RV carport, 12' legs with front and rear gables. My camper on my truck sits at about 12'-1/8" (truck is lifted 4-1/2"). I had to notch the gable to get it in. Without the gable it would fit easily.Re: So what did you do to your Truck Camper today? sasquatchgeoff wrote: Used 2" reflector tape and a sharpie to put centering marks on my TC to allow the 80-120 degree green laser line I just installed in the center of the back window of the truck to show up better on bright days. The laser line hits three points (just under the bottom curve of the cabover, above the TC pass-thru window, and bottom forward edge) on the TC creating a simulated plane to make it possible to do one-shot loading. Got this idea from some dude's how-to Youtube video. That's a cool idea. Where'd you get the laser?Re: What did you do to your truck today?Hellwig Big Wig front and rear sway bars installed over the last 2 days. These things are MASSIVE.Re: Metal storage cover Vinsil wrote: Thanks! Salem is 17 miles from me, I'll give them a call. I used West Coast Metal Buildings for mine, as did my next-door neighbor. Took them a while to get up here to install it (they need several orders for an area), but once they were here, they installed it in a day. It's 33' x 13' with 12' legs. It wasn't cheap because I went with several upgrades and custom sizing. I've had it 3 years, and no complaints. Well, one. I needed to notch the front gable to get my TC in (had a TT before). I want to reinforce the notch with another section of their tubing, but it's proprietary (2.25" galvanized). Can't find it anywhere, and they charge $50ish for the metal and $150 service fee to get me an 8' section. So I need to come up with another plan. Them being local to you should make getting your RV cover a snap.Re: Input on upgrading to 19.5's on my Super Duty TC forever nowI put Vision 19.5s and Toyo M608Z 285/70R19.5 on last week. Haven't had it out with the camper on yet, but as for unloaded ride, at 90 psi it rides just slightly rougher than my BFG AT/KO2s on 20s with 80 psi. One benefit to the 285s is the max load rating is so high that at 90 psi, the load rating is higher than the load rating of the Vision wheels. I could go down to 80 or 85 psi and still be okay, but it rides well enough at 90 that I haven't tried it lower.Re: Our custom true flatbed truck camper build threadWow, that thing is awesome.
