Most modern window ac's are drain is slanted to drain to the condenser coil to be slinged into to it and evaporate while adding efficiency to the window unit. That means if you place it on a level surface it would drain as designed. Most problems occur when crud, leaves, bugs, or other junk trap in the drain channel. The other issue is the condenser coil getting dirty, not allowing the condensate to penetrate. I had a class B motorhome that used a window AC and it laid in the compartment flat and never had any issues with the drain. An observation camera is like using a rear view mirror. I don't know of anyone that doesn't want to know what is directly behind them when traveling down the road. Knowing if someone is tailgating in your blind spot behind the TT can aid in preventing an accident. Can't tell you how many times, though my directional is on, that someone tailgating in the blind spot, decides to go around me just as I change lanes. One time driving a Class B with my boat behind a driver attempted to change to the right lane to pass me as I was changing the the right lane after passing a slower moving vehicle. Of course my right signal was on, but it didn't seem to matter to this driver as he continued to pass, squeezing between me and the guard rail. So as I see it, an observation camera is very useful. Now for backing up into a campsite. Let's just say my wife doesn't have to get out of the truck to spot me. Backing up with a camera is a marriage saver, and makes the camp trip less stressful for me...and the wife. You may need to practice a few times with a spotter to learn and gain confidence using it, but it is well worth the cost.337Views0likes0CommentsRe: Black holding tank censors
Been doing this with the last 3 RV's. Do this along with your regular tank chemicals after each dump. The Recipe: Dissolve two (2) cups of the water softener in a gallon of hot water. Then, pour the solution down the drain into the empty tank. Use two cups of softener for each wastewater tank in your RV. The tank's drain valve should be closed otherwise the softened water will just drain out. Then use the tank(s) normally until it is full and drain it normally. Add a cup of laundry detergent to the black (commode) water tank at the same time you add water softener. This will help clean the tank. Just yesterday I anted to find why my water smelled bad, so I drained and flushed my HW tank to see if it was coming from there. Sure enough, the water came out from the tank drain plug brown and stinky. It seems accordingly to my HW tank Manf instructions I should have been doing this each year before storage. I used a cut-off washing machine hose to insert into the tank and hit it with full water pressure. Considering your gas dryer also uses 120 volts for the "gas valve" (not referred to as an element) you may need some fine tuning on electrical circuits. The 30 amp outlet for your dryer is 240 consisting of two hot, and one ground wire where as your RV uses one hot, one ground and one neutral wire for 120 volts. It would be better to add one 30 amp 120 volt CB and the proper wire to an RV outlet and much safer it would be. The RV outlet polarity must be wired correct as well.
