Many guys run them, I would but they are very expensive.Re: Please help...my burgers are tastelessMix some Santa Maria rub in the meat before you form the patties and you won't be disappointed.Re: Brain Lapse!I am not real sure why anyone wouldn't do a pull test. Granted I am still new to the fiver club (about 1.5 years with our rig) the few extra seconds totally seems worth it. I have a companion that I absolutely love, but across the state or across the driveway.....I alway pull test.Re: A different kind of 12 volt tv question?!?!You are all AWESOME! Thank you so much for the help. Gonna make the switch this weekend!!!!!!A different kind of 12 volt tv question?!?!Hello everyone, I have a Pyle 15" LCD/DVD combo in our toy hauler and I was wondering if I can cut the plug off and wire it directly to a "cigarette" lighter end and plug directly in. I have an inverter but it seems silly to go from 12 volt to 110 volt and then back to 12 volt again. The output on the power supply for the tv says the output is 12 volt 4 amp. Thanks in advance for the help, E=mc2Re: Need a Smoker Ron3rd wrote: E=mc2 wrote: My vote is for a mini drum, I built this a few years back and it goes with us on every trip If you don't have the means to build something like this, my next vote would be for a one of these Weber Smokey Mountain Both are easy to control temps and they produce some serious BBQ Just my .02! I've got a Weber Smokey Mountain and it's great. It's big though, and I think the OP is looking for something smaller. I rarely take my WSM camping due to the size. Great smoker though! I know the Weber Smoky mountain is big, but my link goes to their 14.5 inch model that they released this year. It is just about the size of the Weber Smokey Joe grill just has a body to it. I am a huge Weber fan, they build a great product, have excellent customer service and they are American made, that is exactly what I look for any any product, can't always find it but I look.Re: Need a SmokerMy vote is for a mini drum, I built this a few years back and it goes with us on every trip If you don't have the means to build something like this, my next vote would be for a one of these Weber Smokey Mountain Both are easy to control temps and they produce some serious BBQ Just my .02!Re: How much grease?Like others have said, use a lube plate and that will minimize the mess. I add a little grease to my kingpin and a little to jaws on my Companion before each trip. Then when the trip is over I remove all grease from pin box and hitch. That way it doesn't attract all the dirt and stuff.Re: Lubing the Fifth WheelI use a Teflon disc with my companion and I grease the jaws and kingpin before each trip, and at the end of the trip I just wipe off the grease and then it is clean and ready for the next trip.Re: Towing with Full Water Tank?Filled to the top on every trip for us. That is what it's there for.
