Two bird feeders bring in Green Jays, sparrows, mocking birds, cardinals, flickers, and some little bird I can't remember the name, just did, Titmouse. Eventually the Red Wing Blackbirds will move in and with the large numbers of them and the droppings we stop feeding. Two yrs ago our daughter visited and we saw more birds at our Monty then we did at the bird blinds in Bentsen State Park.Re: Favorite Passport America campgrounds?Stage Coach RV Park in Branson, MO. WE stayed 7 days, free shuttle to shows, free WI-FI, cable, FU. Friendly, helpful owners, but they did have it for sale in 2012.Re: Rio Grande Valley Park recommendationsDepends on what you are looking in the way of amenities and cost. We are leaving for Oleander Acres 2421 So. Conway Ave Mission, TX on Monday. Club House, no pool or tennis court, but lots of friendly people. This is our 6th yr there. Best advice you have received is stay at a park for a month and check out the area parks. Mission, TX itself has 40 parks. Good luck and if you do show up at Oleander ask for the Cheesehead.Re: Branson MOAs PA members we used StageCoach RV Park. Nice site with FHU, Cable, WiFi and free shuttle to shows. Will definitly stay there again.Re: First timeWith our experience I think you will find that campers are all alike and will enjoy your fellow campers. You may find a grouch or two, but just ignore them and enjoy the experience. You will probably discover some new friends.Re: Blackhawk Park COE, WisconsinTypical COE park. Very nice and also quiet. We were right on the river, actually was a backwater area, but still nice. Will definitely stay there if in the area.Re: S. Padre Island KOANever stayed at the SPI KOA, but winter in Mission, TX and travel to SPI at least twice during the winter. If it were me I would use the County RV park. More reasonable in price and sites are not as crowded.Re: GS Camping DirectoryHIP HIP HOORAY, the directory was in our held mail after our trip last week.
