Confused looking for the best RV park with FHU, 50 amp pull throughs. 60’ overall. From what I’ve found, it looks like the KOA is too noisy. We are 2 older adults. Don’t use the pool etc. we just want to visit for a few days. How many days would you suggest? Is there a shuttle or something from any of the campgrounds? We would prefer not to drive to town! We need to replace our Whirlpool 10.1 ASAP. What have you used in the space of the old 10 cu ft propane/electric unit? Are you happy with it? The shelf broke in ours & it is VERY expensive to replace & hard to find…no longer manufactured. The only thing readily available is the Magic Chef 10.1, but seems to not last long. We are having trouble even finding floor samples to look at. Frigidaire also has a unit that might work at 10.1, but with mixed reviews. Seems like a lot of people are having trouble getting their refrigerators to get (& keep) cold enough. Thanks for you input! Do any of you have the 11.6 counter depth 24” refrigerator? We need to know the depth of the door at the hinge & also the depth in the center widest part. It would go near the stairs in our fifth wheel. Have you had any trouble with yours? We have a 10.1 that is no longer made & the large shelf in the door broke. Unfortunately, our reservations in Canon city are from Wednesday to Sunday, so we would need to deal with the traffic closures & do our best to get in the mid-day 1hour window. The RV park won’t allow arrivals after 6 without extra $ & NO arrivals after dark, so coming through in the late afternoon won’t work! We will be spending several days in San Antonio & are looking at where to stay when we visit the LBJ Ranch & state park in Johnson City, as well as the Fredericksburg area for the Natl Museum of the Pacific War. Our next stop will be in Denton TX. I thought Johnson City would be best, but I am beginning to think The Fredericksburg area might be better. Your thought & suggestions? Thanks all for your comments so far! We would leave the truck & RV behind & be foot passengers. It is interesting to see how many say you really need a vehicle...
