I haven't had time to call during the week but it's very high on my to do list. Unfortunately due to the magnitude of water the poorly installed windows allowed in, the cabinet doors have swelled and split. Plus the walls are swelling. Since pics were requested, here are a couple of the bedroom emergency window before I removed it. You can see the cut out at the radius of the corner. I knew I should have taken pictures of the seal once the window was out. It was obvious where the upper edge window seal did not make contact with the wall. The seal on the top edge of the window didn't make contact with the wall so it just funneled water in the trailer. Keep a close eye on your windows. I have a 2013 Attitude 28ALKG that I bought used last year. While washing the trailer this summer I found some water leaking in one of my bedroom windows. When i say leak... I mean streaming. I pulled the window only to find it was never centered when originally installed. Simply scraping the sealant away exposed a small area of the cut out. Worse yet this poor installation did not have the window gasket against the wall of the trailer. Checking the trailer this weekend after the big rain we had, I found two more windows leaking. Scraping the caulk off confirms my worries of poor window installation. Yet again, the window was not centered and part of the cut out is exposed. Now I have to remove and reinstall all the windows to ensure they are sealed properly.682Views0likes0Comments
