A WD hitch should ALWAYS be sized to the loaded tongue weight of the trailer. Anything less and you're towing with undersized equipment that is not up to the job. I have bought three different travel trailers from three different dealers and not one of the said I could pull anything on the lot, in fact it was the opposite, they didn't even want to show me the heavier trailers unless I was upgrading tow vehicles. So not all dealers are bad.Re: What's the best way to break my rig while towing? Why do you want to break your rig?Re: One way glass for door??There is a restaurant close by that has one way glass over the urinals, while standing doing your business your watch people in the lobby.Re: Heartland "Bighorn " ? newman fulltimer wrote: Super_Dave wrote: newman fulltimer wrote: I wouldn't buy a heartland. We love our Heartland and could easily live full time in it. OP could probably use reasons you'd not buy a Heartland rather than blanket statement, particularly if you haven't owned one. OK let's see I work on them Lost count on electrical fires in them . lost count on how many accounts units I have replaced on the heartland brand I just replaced two on two units this week. They seem to have the most cases of wall delamination than any other brand I have seen. So you see one I see a volume of them is why I will not buy one What’s is a accounts units?Re: Hurricane Michael is forcing us out..where to camp? The weathers not bad in Minnesota and the campgrounds are not busy this time yearRe: May be about to move from a fiver to a TT 2oldman wrote: Wow.. 10 pages of AF in search. Much more comfortable than the pickup truck. I think you are the only one in the world with a 3500 Suburban Denali. But you also are the only person I’ve heard who has a truck that Ford brought in and custom tuned for a customer. Better keep both of those vehicles a long time. The auto makers must like him better so he gets the better vehicles.Re: anyone had a 17ft TT Stolen? blownstang01 wrote: Subscribing And easier way to subscribe is just click the subscribe button above the original post.Re: Rookie Mistake - need advice ScottG wrote: Use the two front stabilizer jacks to raise it up enough. Raise each one an inch or two and then do the same to the other. Keep going back and forth. You don’t have to raise the stabilizer jacks, just crank in the one on the hitch and it’ll set on the stabilizers, lower the front one until you can get a new piece of wood under it then crank back up to tight.
