Thank you both very much my wife and I are new at this and everyone I speak to seems to give me a different answer. All I did notice is that when I use my tow haul the RPmS seem to stay up a lot higher. We will try different ways I guess we really are not towing in any mountains. I am just starting to tow a small car with our motorhome. It has a triton v10 I was towing in overdrive with no problem should I be towing in overdrive with the tow haul on or off and when should a person use the gears 3,2, ,1.
