One is black and cost about $27 for 10 ft, the one I bought is White and was $9. Also, as an FYI, in my experience, the white is easily paintable with Krylon.Re: Round Bar Question BarneyS wrote: I suspect, but can't guarantee, that the smaller weight rated bars will work fine in your existing hitch head. Barney **Update** I compared & measured the 550's. As far as I can tell they are identical in all aspects for fitting & working in the Husky's hitch head so I snapped them up too. (Pretty pleased with myself!) I'm a happy camper who just needs a trailer now :)Re: Round Bar Question BarneyS wrote: I suspect, but can't guarantee, that the smaller weight rated bars will work fine in your existing hitch head. Welcome to the forums! :) Barney Thanks Barney, appreciate it.Round Bar QuestionNew to the site, been a follower of sorts tho. I'm in the market for a 17-22" TT and recently found a great deal on a Husky WD kit, complete, so I snapped it up for the fact I'd be ready when I found the trailer I'm looking for. The bars are rated for 800-1200lbs tongue weight. Now I'm wondering if when I find said trailer and the tongue weight is much lighter than I'm geared for, will I have a problem with bars that are rated too high? Now I also have a chance to snap up a pair of Reese Pro Series round bars for next to nothing that are 550lb rated. I haven't had a chance yet to measure the round section which slides into the hitch head, does anyone know this measurement of these bars? They're part of kit#49901. If the Reese round bar diameter is 1 3/8" as mine are, would it be a problem to use them in the Husky? The Reese bars have the same retaining slot from what I remember.
