It has door and window, smoke, temperature sensors etc. Install it yourself in a few minutes. It uses cellular, has text alerts for power failure etc. The text alerts work great as you know instantly of power out etc. I have been using it for a couple of years with no issues. It is wireless so you change batteries every year or so. It also has remote keychain fobs. It has a keypad to use inside the coach. The few times it has activated, my mistakes, they called rapidly. The only problem is they want to call police but since I never know where I will be located they cannot. Sometimes if we are going to be in one location for a few months I will call and change the address so they know where I am located. It also has a cell phone app you can check the inside temperature and activate and deactivate the system. We have dogs so the temperature checking along with power failure feature gives us peace of mind in the summer. It does have a monitoring fee but it is low and worth it to know the dogs are ok.Re: Supplemental Brake Systems - update 8/7/06I have owned 5 motorhomes over the last 30 years and over that time tried several different braking systems. I had a Brake Buddy, SMI, Ready Brake and others. All worked fairly well but the frustration of hooking up the "in the floor" models always kept me looking. About three years ago I saw a coach with a small coiled air hose attached to the coach and stopped to ask. It was the M&G brake system. It was simple with no hooking up to the brake pedal and no cables but only an air hose connection from coach to the towad vehicle. It is so simple. I installed it myself in about 2 hours plus an hour for the break-away kit. I am sold and will never use anything else. It always works and you never have to do anything but hook or unhook the quick coupling on the air hose. It is the best I have ever used. After 3 years I have had no brake problems on the Suburban I pull. Can't say that about some others. Now the last time I did a post I was berated from others thinking I had some interest in selling the products. I do not. I am in the advertising business and own a 45 ft Monaco Signature. So to the guys that jumped on me last time..... give me a break.Re: Supplemental Brake Systems - update 8/7/06I had the M&G system installed at a dealer listed on M&G's web site in Riverdale, GA. I was there about 4 hours with Motor home and Suburban. It took one man about 20 minutes to put on the motor home part and another about 3 hours to do the Suburban. I did have the break away option installed. I have traveled about 1500 miles with the system and it is working perfect. No brake lines were disconnected during installation on the Suburban. Cost about the same as a Brake Buddy ($1100 with tax and install) and is so much easier traveling without the box in the floor. It takes about 3 seconds to hook up or disconnect. I had a Brake Buddy for three years and it worked OK but was such a hassle to put in and take out. It also rattled when you put it in the back of the Suburban when not using. I was unhooked from the motorhome for 4 days and decided to pull the break away pin on the Suburban to see if the air had leaked out of the M&G system. To my surprise the brakes applied on the Suburban. I think I am going to love the system after having 4 different systems over the years nothing compares to the M&G after only 1500 miles. Hope I feel the same after 50,000 miles.
