Thanks for sharing this. I've considered doing something similar ever since we went from crew to super cab. Just haven't found the time yet, and not sure where we store the seats. Did you re-locate the jack and tire tool kit? Did you consider drawers or a slide-out shelf? These were Duracells. I used a Dremel wheel to clean the contacts, water and q-tips to clean up the liquid, and finished with a hair dryer. With new batteries, I was able to extend the jack I was working on. When done, the jack would not retract even after resetting things several times. Expensive electronic device ruined by leaking AAs, sigh. I guess I will now be pulling the batteries between uses. Only 6 screws need removal. Are you listening Lippert? Also check the distance above the rails. My 'foot dealer had to run and get a foam sheet to get me home when it appeared the camper would hit the rails. I now have a 2X6 built platform that keeps my camper centered also.1.4KViews1like1Comment
