I think this will come to a coach near me in the very near future. :DRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012I'm on the road just now and can't get pictures uploaded, but I can explain how the bolts are attached. The bikes hang on a 12" galvanized J-bolt used for attaching house framing to the foundation. There is a nut and lockwasher on both sides of the 1" square tube on the 12" J-Bolt. I also used a 8" J-bolts to attach the bike rack to the A-frame. Hope this helps. LamarRe: Cool Mods - Thread restored 10/18/2012Here's the bike rack I added to the A-frame of our TT. Keeps the bikes where I can see them and is not attached to the rear bumper which Keystone doesn't like. As I recall, the UST brand is good - think it was a replacement for the Elim? previously carried by Pep Boys (which had problems). Supposedly Champion does not re-badge. Guess it could have the same Chinese engine. Thank you for the info on the UST. Am I correct in my observations that the UST3500 as sold by Pep Boys is not equipped with the 30 amp receptacle when compared to the Champ 4000 sold through Chucker/Kragen's, Coast and other distributors? It just looks that way from the website provided by a member a few posts back. I have one of the UST3000s from Pep Boys. I have had it for about 1.5 years. It did not have an RV recepticle on it, but it did have all the power going to a 30 Amp twist/lock recepticle. It came with a plug for this recepticle which I added a female RV plug to. I did not have to rewire the generator as all the power (25 Amps) is supplied to the single twist lock recepticle. I cannot speak to the current generation of UST generators, but I have been very happy with mine. Here is a link to my website with pictures. Genertor LinkRe: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.RMPLSTLSKN, I purchased one of the UST 3000 GT generators from my local Pepboys back in the summer. It supplies all 25 AMPS to the twist and lock outlet. I used a female 30 AMP plug along with the included twist and lock connector to supply power to the TT. I have been able to run my 15,000 BTU A/C and microwave from this unit. It cranks very easily, required no modification and is relatively quiet. In short, I'm happy with this unit.Re: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.I made my 30 Amp adapter today using the provided plug and a female 30 Amp RV pigtail. The 3000 GT generator from Pep Boys was able to run the 15,000 BTU AC, microwave, interior lights, inverter/charger and all the phantom power on TV, stereo, etc. The mirowave took a little longer to heat a cup of water, but we can always turn off the AC for a couple of minutes if we need to use the microwave. I recommend the UST 3000 GT as it already has the 25 AMP 120 Volt connection and requires no modifications. See my previous post on page 114 for a link to my website.Re: 3000W Chinese Gensets Info.I went to my local Pep Boys to purchase the Propower 3500 advertised in their sale paper. As it turned out they were selling a UST 3000 GT instead at the $319.00 price. The 3000 Gt looks to have the "Honda" knock-off engine and the "canned ham" muffler. It also has a 120 Volt duplex receptical rated @ 20 Amps each or a single twist on 3-prong outlet that is 120 Volts @ 25 Amps. This is exactly what I needed. I did a test plugging my 30 Amp shoreline cable into a 20 Amp adapter into one of the 20 Amp recepticals and it ran my 15,000 BTU airconditioner with no problems. I did not try the microwave or other high draw appliances. Tomorrow, I will construct a 30 Amp shoreline cable with the twist-on plug provided with the generator. I will then add additional loads to see what happens. Here is a link to pictures of the generator: http://www.geocities.com/fulltimedreamer2004/generator.html
