The quote from National General was very competitive and exceeded my current coverage with 5 model years of replacement coverage and purchase price thereafter. I was very interested and started to check them out. I found online reviews from different sources. All were negative with failures in customer service, adjusters, and payment. I called a friend for an opinion and he had National General several years ago and had to call his state insurance commissioner to get the claim paid. I have put it on hold for now and would hope GS could get coverage from a more reliable carrier.I need your help with Good Sam QuoteFor years I have had all of my toys and home with State Farm. I am getting a new TT and the Good Sam quote was about $30.00 less. I have never heard National General and am cautious of changing for $30.00. Also, National General has the replacement value plan. Does anyone have a thought on this carrier and the replacement value plan? Thanks for your response. Allen B. GeorgiaHelp for a NewbieWe are newly retired and are planning a trip to the west and southwest this summer with a new travel trailer. We live in Georgia. In planning, how many miles per day should we schedule? Should we make reservations for overnight stays or would a "walk up" work for the busy summer. Any other thoughts from experienced travelers. I do have Good Sam's RV Travel Guide. Thank you. Allen B
