It would be nice to try the factory air suspension . I'm going to go with what worked good for me in the past. I really like timbrens front and rear, then I use lower stable loads to preload spring leafs and run bilstein shocks. I drove a 2016 ram 3500 SRW 2wd and really like the power, comfort and being able to stop easier, compared to my 2002 Dodge . Going to keep looking for low hour good condition Ram. Oh one other thing was the lack of noise. I'm liking the quiet factor, and my neighbors will like me better when I leave on early morning trips.Anyone haul camper with Ram SRW 3500 2wd factory air bag ?I have a Lance 850 that I haul on a 2002 Dodge 2500 with upgraded suspension. Recently I have been looking at 4th Generation Ram trucks. I found a 3500 SRW 2wd that has the factory air bag system. Just wondering how they would handle a slide in camper that weighs about 3000-3500? I'm pretty sure you can't adjust the pressures in the bags. I know how to get the regular leaf spring setup to work. But this new system will probably be hard to modify if it doesn't handle a camper. Any info is appreciated. thanksRe: New user, TC Tire questionsGood luck on getting through to Rickson. I have been calling every day for 2 weeks straight and no answer. Emailed also and no reply. Maybe they are off until the new year.Re: Haven't posted in awhile but have a tire questionJust a side note, I have tried to call Rickson Wheels to ask some questions . I called about a week straight and left messages and never talked to anyone or got a call back. Also emailed them and no response, does any one know how to reach them or are they still in business? Thanks.Re: Haven't posted in awhile but have a tire questionThanks , thats the info I was looking for. I guess I'll just keep good rubber on my 265/75-16's. I still have a chance to by a used set of Rickson wheels that fit my truck with correct offset. Only thing is I heard the ride is pretty harsh without the camper. I'm still deciding if I"m going to buy them. The asking price is 1250 for 4 wheels with used continental tires .Re: Haven't posted in awhile but have a tire questionThanks to all that replied. I have some more homework to do. My current tires are Michelin E rated 3415 pounds each. So far I think I'm under the tire weight ratings , but won't know until I get loaded up and get on the scale.Haven't posted in awhile but have a tire questionJust bought new lance 850 and currently run 265/75-16 tires on 2002 Dodge 2500 quad cab long bed 2wd. Camper is a little heavier than my 2005 lance lite 835. Just wondering if anyone has run 285/75-16 on the 2wd dodge? I haven't weighted the camper yet but feels a bit heavier than previous camper. Just trying to have a safe cushion on my tires. Also I have a chance to buy some used Rickson wheels that fit my dodge. That might be a better option if the 285's don't fit. Thanks for any info.
